Why Can't People Race On This Game?

I'd beat you, you sound like an amateur gta racer and i'm sh*t at gta racing.

Mate, you're going to have to get used to the P.I.T. maneuver...

Because it's going to be your greatest enemy and your best friend...

Pretty much the best way to win races is to stay second and slipstream up to first, then P.I.T. the guy before he wins...

I love watching my Turismo beat 18 Zentornos...

This knobend is a prime example ...the only way he can win is by cheating

Adaptation.

Some survive and evolve.

Others are too ignorant to realize they're playing Grand Theft Auto instead of an actual racing game.

You know, where balance isn't at the height of the priority list.

You either buy the fastest, most-used, and downright hideous car and hope it wins races for you.

Or you keep the game fun by making races a challenge.

Your choice.

How am i supposed to read that sh*t

If I can tolerate people's bad attitudes and pointless complaining, you can read some slightly darker slightly smaller text.

Or not!

Nobody is forcing you.

Reminds me of a race I created around the Tvonga Mountain Range. I was racing a kid in a Zentorno with my Zentorno (when I had one). He would constantly pulling up up to my left side and try to ram me off the road. The third time he did it, I braked immediatly, he missed and went over a cliff and on top of that he landed upside down and commit suicide he rage quit and send me a message saying I cheated. To be honest, although the race was mine and I normally give players a chance, this little punk deserved the Fall to his death.

Actual Size

Since it's not a racing game I don't expect the best from my opponents. I don't expect clean racing, I expect to be rammed off the track. I race clean unless someone shows that they're not racing that way. I'll pit someone if they've tried to pit me, otherwise it's all clean racing for me.

I'll break early to let the crashers fly by me. I'll take hard turns to get out of the way of idiot drivers/crashers. If I get the lead, I can usually win with normal good breaking and lines. If ketchup or slipstream is on, you need no adjust using the above tactics. I'll let someone pass me clean every time. Unless they've tried to ram me off the road.

GTAO is a different kind of racing than all other racing games. You have to trust no one and stay as clean as they allow you to be. I have no problems letting a clean racer beat me to the finish line. I'll let them pass if they have the slipstream. Anyone trying to ram me off the road, I'll block or pit them.

Most people have no clue how to race so everyone is figured out in the first half lap and I know what I need to do the rest if the race. I prefer a clean race but I'll lower myself to each drivers level as I see them coming.

It's like you're using darker text just to piss people off. There's no benefits to it, you're just doing it because people don't like it...

Definitely, they need to get attention somehow though eh?

Tbh randoms in this game just aren't very smart.Fair enough some people just aren't very good but it's the massive lack of common sense and that they don't learn from their mistakes. You'd think if they went too fast and crashed on the first corner that on the second lap they'd brake a little earlier. But most don't.

If you want good racing join a racing crew.Nonchalant Dominance is pretty relaxed and has a wide variety of skill levels. And the average NODO random is twice as smart as a regular random so you have decent players for other game modes too.

My brother has recently got the game, so we've been racing together a lot since he's still learning how to shoot / fly etc.

The 'Taxiing' race by far is the worst for wrong-way drivers. We've taken part in maybe five, six races there, and only once have we been free of these knobheads.

Most of the time I race cleanly, and even when people are getting aggressive I'll still try to win without ramming others off the road. I've probably lost a few races that I could have won as a result, but sod it, it makes me happy.

It's GTA, though, so I accept that not everyone is going to race that way. It doesn't bother me that much. And besides, I like to race cleanly MOST of the time. I can slam into somebody just as well as the next man ;)
