What's the deal with overfilled lobbies? + character sprites toppl

Call this a bit of help and a B&M, but what is going on with these lobbies overpopulating? I'm joining too many jobs of all sorts where the limit is something like 4-8 and there's 11 people in the lobby. As if the jobs in this game weren't flawed enough. Also, when finishing a tdm or something like that and when we win, all the characters jumble together for a second after the victory screen loads. Not a big issue, but this started happening around the same time the overpopulation did. Any workarounds for the lobbies?
