I'm afraid, that's gonna be the case unfortunately. They had such a good system with the one item per day. Getting a single crate per day was so relaxed. WHY change that R*?!

Yeah let's hope there will be a second chance to get them, because i think even when i sit 24/7 the whole weekend... or in this case 24/3 - I'm probably only getting duplicates after the 2nd or 3rd shirt. There's always one I'm not getting when they have this sh*tty random system going on... Well, here's hoping I at least get Santo Crapa

OK, so I saw the four shirts that were supposed to be in the crates available to buy in PS3? What is this about? Are there different shirts in the crates, or are they really dropping crates with shirts you can buy for 2000$? Or is this crate event not coming to last gen?

The first two crates that I collected contained different shirts, so here's to hoping they fixed the priority system.

Players aren't even bothering with races despite the fact that they're generating 2x RP. Are people not interested in leveling up or is it not enough of an incentive?

 

UPDATE: This event is truly lame. Players aren't joining races and the crate drops make no sense whatsoever. I was defending GTA Online to the haters but this crap is indefensible. What is Rockstar thinking?

I've been on for a an hour, so far no crates in full lobbies.

The Event Playlist PAYS!!! Average about $20,000-$30,000 between two matches and then come out with free molotovs and body armor (among other explosives). And, the Adversary Modes are fun enough to do 5-6 times before getting sick of it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the playlist to those looking to level up and farm cash, as well as those that love molotovs as much as I, and those needing Stickys, Body Armor, and Proximitys who don't want to spend the cash to get them. Certainly a more stable income than Heists play for solo players (at least for the weekend).

Also, whenever I get dropped into a lobby from the playlist, it seems like 8 times of 10, a Crate Drop pops up as available in "10 hours". I was able to farm a sh*t toon of cash and RP, as well as gain 3 of 4 available shirts today, by doing nothing but playing the Event Playlist and competing for crates.

It appears that they've adjusted the priority system so that you don't get duplicate shirts until you've collected them all. I can't say that I'm 100% sure about this, but my experience suggests as much. Can anybody confirm this?

I discovered that after playing the playlist, the game silently puts a Pistol .50 in your inventory. You get to have it for free (PS4/Xbox One/PC) or if you do not have the collector's edition (PS3/Xbox 360) and keep it, even if you reset the console.
