How Do You Make "Friends" On GTAO?

I met most of my friends that I play with by spawning the Hearse for them.

 

Or, violently airthrust repeatedly before they start shooting at you.

On PC i always say hello in the in-game chat, i join heists and such and am friendly, always talk and get people talking. Its amazing what a little chat box does.

I made a lot of friends during my first play through while doing heists. Coincidentally, I've also made a lot of enemies doing that.

 

But assuming you don't talk down to me like I've never played the game before when I'm better at it than you, I'm down to be friends with anyone.

if you did that to me in a lobby i would just blow you off and think ur just another creep trying to "score" a "gamer girl".

Though i must say i also don't use it enough in a positive way....it kinda exists for a reason

and heh.....if a creep woud get turned on by youre voice(lol) i somehow cant imagen he or she comes outside much, let alone he woud even try to find you and stalk in real life just sayin

One way. Sending people text is a way I like to communicate while watching their gameplay on the TV

 

It's also a good way to annoy loud-mouth cheef-keefs.

Generally doing well in TDM and Races for awhile, people tend to stay where there's competition

This, also in heists. I've had many people add me that way. I've also received "good job" messages when doing a heist. lol Even when I'm not online they send me messages asking me when I'm going to be online, they know I have the PS app.

 

We usually don't chill in free roam or hangout in each others APTs, but when they want to do a LTS, DM, race, or heist, (those are the only game modes I play) they just send me an invite. I won't ignore it, unless I'm busy.

Usually through heists - tends to be guys I've done a full setup/finale run with if they've impressed me/vice versa.

 

Or free roam, having good battles with people or from just chatting to people.

Been doing that since October of last year...wish I could say it helps, but don't have any evidence that points to it.

 

Just playing various missions with people (sincere enough to finish it), usually leads to some friend invites; or some commonality (e.g. completing daily objectives) is another good means.

The female character isn't the solution anymore where kids (virgin) ask you: "can you come in my home, i want to f*ck you have sex with you.. because I love you!" (lol).

 

Now "you" need to use a trainer and scriptkiddies, go to the Online, say in bold in the text chat: "Hi n00bZ, i'm modder, I'm full of money I can share with you!!"
In 10 minutes, there will be 15 players with you, begging for money, and will send many friends invits to you.
Your friendlist will be full a great friends.

And when (if) Rockstar threaten to ban them, then they will report you... or if there is a new "ban wave" rumor, all these friends will come on this forum (and on the Rockstar support) to say:
"Boooo i'm victim, i can be banned because i have no legit money... but it's not my fault, a f*ckink hacker, modder, scriptkid gave to me.. I don't want to be banned, it's the fault of YOUR_USERNAME"

Play with low levels.

 

Follow them around, defend them from the cops they inevitably attract, protect them from rank 300s in chrome supercars, do missions with them, eventually they'll send you a FR.

 

Accept it and watch them grow.

I just join some Twitch streamer crews and add the streamer and crew members, also I add people who seem competent in missions. Often they accept.

I get quite a few friend request randomly... no idea why. I no longer accept everyone though. Just good racers, or just overall nice players.

 

Usually make friends by defending others, many girls get picked on online. So where I step in (many think I'm a girl because of my character lol).

I have GTAO contacts I've met through this forum - got one or two people on here I regularly bump into online and I help them out with Daily Objectives or missions if they need another guy for a job.

 

I've also had a lot of fun with car meets with forum members - maybe not to everyone's tastes (there's no combat or killing other players) but it is nice to be in a populated invite-only session and not have to be hovering over weapons every time something moves.

 

The 'Find A Lobby and Meetups' section on these forums could surely be a good place to get some regular / reliable partners in crime.
