PlayMoney
Hey guys, I was playing GTA V and it kept crashing at the "drug deal gone wrong" mission right after I shoot the helicopters, climb the roofs and try to get into the dead guy's car. I must have done that mission 15 times, then the next day I decided I'll just skip it and do some other missions, but now every time I loaded the game, Franklin was just floating in mid air, all the buildings/people were gone, and all you saw were a million cars driving a mile above his head in an emptiness of blue. ANYHOO _ so I decided to reinstall the game, but first I checked the forums and they said I needed to save the Rockstar Games folder that's in My Documents. So I backed it up to the Desktop, and after the install I copied it back. Sadly - that didn't work. I still don't see any saved games and when I start the game it makes me do the flashback bank robbery mission again. I checked to see if it created a new user folder, and it did... so i copied the saved game files into that folder as well - but still nothing. Any advice? I really don't want to start from scratch
RedDagger
Sounds like the save file may have been corrupted, in which case there's nothing you can do.
Spuds725
If you do not feel like completely restarting the game-- you can search for and download a hosted save from this site-- http://gtasnp.com/browse as of this writing there are 490 saves being hosted-- I would determine which mission you were on when the game bugged and go back a few before this (in case you did missions slightly out of order from the person's you are downloading) Spuds' GTA V 100% Checklist // My IV & Vice City Videos "I want to design a video game where you take care of all the people shot in all the other video games....
