He goes on to proudly say that he doesn't play the games but just makes the movies. He also literally tells all of us to f*ck ourselves. And something along the lines of; We're sheep, don't make enough money and Hollywood is laughing at us for spending money to get brainwashed... Theodore93 Posted June 9, 2015 Share Posted June 9, 2015 I've just realised that although I've been aware of him (and his reputation) for many years, I've never actually seen a single movie of his. From what I've heard of his films, I imagine that's probably a good thing. He sounds like a douche anyway and it's probably just as well if he calls it a day. Imagine comicbook movies without the talented actors, writers, directors, and special effects. That's an Uwe Boll movie. If this guy really wants to make movies, there's nothing stopping him. It's cheaper than ever to produce a movie. It wouldn't be the prettiest movie, or have great VFX, but it's still possible to have a great story, great acting, and with a talented enough crew who doesn't mind not getting paid, it could look professional. Wasn't there an actual proven reason as to why his movies suck? I think they were laundering drug money or something. His soul is crushed by the fact that indie filmmakers can fund their projects on Kickstarter, yet no one cares about his project despite the fact that he's a "professional" filmmaker who's worked with some big names. He seems to really think highly of himself. Or at least he used to. This rant was a defense mechanism against the growing self doubt that he feels right now. No seriously, I remember something about Swedish made movies not having to pay taxes if the movies sucked or something. T'was Germany. I remember her stuff is quite inaccessible to me, but i hadnt realized how cute she is. Oh yeah, OT: Yeah Uwe Boll sucks. Im actually surprised that he expected people to Kickstart his project.
