RominOctane
The los santos airport on last gen was very busy. There was a small private jet that would land from the north runway, a 747 that would land from the west runway, another 747 that would be taking off towards the southeast end of the runway, multiple small jets moving around and 2 747 jets parked at the right side of the airport. sometimes 3 or more of the above mentioned things would be happening at the same time, which gave an impressive realistic feel to the airport. Now on next gen all of these things are completely absent. The Airport is just a dead patch of land that takes up almost half the size of the whole city. You would be lucky to see a 747 landing every once in a while but that's it. why did they downgrade the airport so much on next gen? Does anyone else find this extremely annoying? why does rockstar keep taking steps backwards with GTA5. 78 lil red express, wiizardii and RolfStarGames
Osho
Maybe a bug? Maybe this would cause some performance issues? Maybe due to online? This has been reported @ support site, namely, -No jumbo planes starting and landing on los santos airport anymore (singleplayer) - Gta v moving Aircraft and vehicles broken at airport And, No. None of the R* rep. seems to have any time to reply nor suggest any ( obviously they don't know ) reason. So, I guess, we, single players have a lot more waiting left while R* busy with garbage online. RolfStarGames
SirJohnnyStark
well the planes are still starting and landing on current gen, as far as i know...but the game seems to trigger those scripted landings/taking offs far before we reach the surroundings of the airport... so when we reach the airport, one 747 already is in air, and the other one is already parked with the engines running even the black private jet is already standing on its final parking spot, the moment you enter the airport gates... on the old consoles the scripted animation was triggered as soon as we entered the airport... so we could see them actually land and start... but oddly on nextgen they messed up

Big_Smiley
Hmmm...and i thought i was the only one who noticed this. I can't think of any reason why they would make these changes into the next-gen. Who knows..
lemonhead118
I was playing earlier and only one 747 spawned which then glitches out when I crashed into it. There weren't any parked even after travelling across the map and back again

Glad you assumed the worst though and blamed Rockstar for downgrading the game. I mean, nothing quite as satisfying as jumping to conclusions, right? RominOctane
^you are are either trying to troll or you are one of those blind rockstar defenders. Im not even going to try to argue with you because you are obviously ignorant. All im gonna say is show me proof of that the airport in your game on ps4 still spawns all those things i mentioned in the OP. When you do that, then i will take you seriously.
