Well, because R* works in mysterious ways. Remember when we were worried about bans for owning Franklin's Buffalo? That wasn't officially in online, but they added it. So there is precedent.

 

Your insistence that it's not supposed to be online is curious. For now it is not, sure. However, the lack of original blacklisting promotes that either R* was lazy or had plans to add it eventually. R* got the DoD owners because they either got exposed for not blacklisting or got it into the online world before they were ready. Either way, your dogmatic insistence that 'this is the way it is' is sounding almost theological. It is never as cut and dry as you are making it sound.

If you have a personal Insurgent, try crashing into the van in the mission "Show Me The Monet" whilst the bad guys are still in it, you practically stop dead or bounce off it like an airport fence!

Im not sure what the weight in the game files is compared to the insurgent but I've driven both online and the insurgent seems to throw cars just as far to me. Anyway I'm sure someone knows how much each weighs. The did was a bit of a death trap to be honest I got killed in mine quite a lot. You can't shoot out of it in most directions and you'd never choose it over a kuruma against bullets or over an insurgent against a jet or rockets but its cool factor... Its just the coolest car in the game.

 

Still a mini gun into the front window kills the driver of a dod from miles away.

If the games not fun why play? I see this R* is anti fun comment on a daily basis on this site and I don't get why people like you keep subjecting yourself to something you don't enjoy.

Back the tank into a space where cop cars can't ram you.

Example: Back into the police station parking lot and shoot the cops as they come to you.

Look man I know about the hell of a struggle to find a sp to mp on the new gen. It was all anyone was trying to do for months and months and the only reason was to get the duke of death online. We knew it wasn't blacklisted but finding the glitch took a very long time. I was in the voice party when it finally happened (it was done by the ps4 guys of this forum) and I've never heard so many people so excited playing a game. Screams of excitement all around. I was the third person in the world to have to DOD online and spend days giving it to everyone I saw until every lobby had a ton of them driving around. To the point bwhere I didn't have much time to enjoy it myself before it got patched inactive. People were loving life driving that thing around. You have a kuruma... Great. But its got nothing on the love peopled have for that dukes.

 

I don't know for what reason you missed out on it but if you had of got one at the time you wouldn't be such a spoil sport. I will direct you to this thread on the day its released online too .

Mine still sits in my garage just a awesome car to drive around it is a little more "heavy" than the kuruma it withstands two stickies and I died inside of it(getting shot)the fact that it wasn't black listed says something I just hope I could drive it again I did however enjoy the times we had.

Or, maybe they didn't blacklist it because the idea of people wasting a garage space and blowing themselves up out of desperation that that "the last patch fixed it, right?" is better than the alternative (and more hilarious to think about, too).

 

You could be right that they'll bring the DoD into MP like they did Franklins Buffalo S, but then again, they didn't force the drivers of glitched Buffalo S' to kill themselves upon entering it, so I highly doubt it if they're that desperate to stop the DoD in that way.
