Im gonna skip Steps #7 and #8 mostly becuase,at least for me,such things as telling myself something or watching motivational videos dont work.

Step 10: I want you to make sure you know everything before sitting on that chair and taking the exam. Know everything!

Thats like picking a random hobo on the streets and telling him "Why dont you become rich?"

Its not really that easy.

Thanks for the help anyways.

Life isn't easy. People also know that work isn't easy. I also know that students, like myself, find work hard, but I must use that as my advantage to work harder.

If there's one thing about that small percentage of successful people, it's that they were like everyone else except they worked harder and stayed on track for their one desire. People are praised in public for what they have been practicing years in the dark.

We are both students, everyone finds work hard so take that as your advantage and work harder than everyone else.

Point 10 is about self-confidence not about knowing everything, still youre right for skipping 7 and 8, they dont necessarily work.

Also like MTD said: get the f*ck out of here.

Self-confidence is necessary. A strong mind is a healthy mind. The motivation vids help me so I can work harder, but if they don't work for you then sweet.

The syllabus covers everything you need to know about your test. Memorize all of them and it will be worth the effort.

So simple. I used to visit my friends empty flat that's situated in a very quiet location but not so far from home and within 25-30 mins of travelling. So, I just stay there for an entire day, studying, studying, and studying. Nothing else. Focused totally on the exams prior to showing up for the exam centre.

Just find such a comfortable and quite environment ( even public library that are less crowded, etc. ) and that's enough.

Don't waste your time coming here and asking for advice. Use your common sense, and stay focused!

It really depends on what you're studying for, but I find going through mountains of material to be pointless. For me I find concerntrating on main points emphathised throughout the semester is the best way,

I have programming exam in a couple of days and that's what I've been doing. Just dotting down key components rather than going through hours of lectures.

Here's a tip. If your finals are tomorrow, don't waste time by asking people online what you should do. You should be old enough to know that you're supposed to shut down your electronic devices, turn into a hermit for a day and study until your eyes start to bleed.

As a guy who is on his exam week, the most efficient way to study is doing study group at school/campus ground. The atmosphere on both places somehow make most students more focus on studying rather than other places (especially home). Tip number two, stay away from any distracting objects (phone, laptop, internet, comics, TV, consoles, etc.) when you want to focus and studying. Final tip, re-write all the notes and summaries that you get digitally, or do some last year exam as practice, this way your brain can stimulus subjects better than reading.

Lies!

Next you'll tell me I shouldn't be on Skype the night before the exam, either...

Okay I do have my 5th exam tomorrow and I probably shouldn't be on here

Then you're exactly like me. Except that, well, I don't study for exams, usually. But hey, as long as I get good grades, I'm good, and that's what happened.

So yeah, a tip from me: Don't get stressed out. Think of it like, a typical assignment. Imagine fun stuffs. And also review the materials an hour before the exams. It'll force your brain to receive new information, and that's the sweet spot for short-term memory.

Begin by reapplying for the same exam before you do it, thus having new attempt at the
ready in case you get cheated by the examiner whom does present a 50% chance of not marking
your known correct answers as the required correct answers.

This would eliminate the loss of studied material known over the laps of time waiting for another attempt, fact.
