Earthbound Posted January 12, 2003 Share Posted January 12, 2003 I've been playing Vice City for two months or so and I've noticed that the voice (Tommy Vercetti) put a bad vibe on everything. I like the concept that you have a voice now it's just to me, It put a downer on things. I liked it when you played GTA3 and you'd just be yourself but in Vice City you are not. chargr67 Posted January 12, 2003 Share Posted January 12, 2003 ok look rockstar did an awsome job on the game everything looks and feels great.. but thats what sucks.. they did a good job.. dude its set in the 80's in miami.. come on its was a cool idea but it got old. but its not GTA4 its GTA vice and GTA4 will undoutably be in present time and we will get all the things we like. if it were the 80's and we were playn this game it would be the best game in the world nothing could beat it but if we were in the 80's and the game was in the 60's we would play it but wish it was in the 80's casue the fashion, sound, and over all style of te game is outta date .. dont knock me for bashing im about to go play it right now i just cant wait till GTA comes back to NOW! Plus it was original in it's own right. Call me when the Brits actually win a war, then I'll appreciate the games they come out with. This ain't flaming either, just my biased opinion. As far as Ray Liotta's concerned, excellent for the game, but I hope they recruit a more deviant actor's voice for the next GTA. Someone with a darker side to em. Like Fat Tony! Anywho... You do realise that GTA VC is made my Brits?( Rockstar, the publishers, are americans, but rockstar north, the developers, are based in Scotland. 'Brits' should be taken to mean anyone in Great Britain, which means includes English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh. When some people say 'Brit', they normally (incorrectly) mean someone who's English, not British.
