Is 3.1 million alot of money?

Anything below 10 million (isn't enough) if you have 2 characters to take care of.

I'm not comfortable if I dip below 25 million. That's my cutoff.

Depends on who you ask. Personally, I am sitting on about $37.7M. I would consider that a lot of money, because it is way more than I could ever hope to spend. Ask a different person with different spending habits, and they might say it is not a lot. I'd say $12-15M is right around the point I'd start to consider it "a lot" of money.

Im loving all the "I have 50 million and still feel poor" comments in here lol

I just see that as an excuse for the rich to humble brag

Im sitting on 63 million and I feel that is plenty for this update and the ones in the coming months

I have $3.1 million ironically enough, and I don't feel like it's a lot. I feel like $3 million is a good number to treat as zero. That way you know that at any given moment you can buy any ONE thing you want (Hydra $3 million top price tag). I just stay at $3 million and spend anything I earn over that. Although with the new DLC hitting Wednesday I might just be starting back at $0. I don't typically buy a lot like some of the gluttons on here. But I do want the two new high end cars releasing Wednesday.

I've been grinding missions for a while because of the new update but I'm not sure if I have enough. If it isn't can you tell how much money would be considered alot?

Excellent you earned it and didnt buy it. Keep it up. A+++

You could support Rockstar and buy some shark cards.

Some folks act like they have to buy everything R* puts out in these updates. The Pegasus vehicles in the one coming up are useless. How many Super cars do you need? If you've got $3 million, you've got ammo money for quite a while. Everything else is gravy.

i think you have enough money when you cut out the decimal and just say how many millions (or billions)

Judging by what I've seen in the forums and in-game, the majority wants to be like Jay Leno or Lebron James and own a collection of high end cars.

But in most circumstances $3.1 million is a bit on the low side. After buying and upgrading one vehicle, a good chunk of that money will be gone.

I've spent $60 on Shark Cards. That's $120+ into Rockstar's pockets with about 5 more years of occasional Shark Cards left before GTA VI. I think I'm doing okay. You need receipts?

No, a hacker gave me 4 million dollars and it was gone in just one hour, in real life. A hacker gave me 50 million dollars later, and THAT is a lot of money. I spent it across Pegasus vehicles, ammo, weapons, sports cars, upgrades, bought every clothing, apartments and I believe I had around 24 millions dollars left.

It normally costs me about 13 mill to buy everything in the update for both my characters. Sitting on 11 mill now so I feel being broke is coming soon. My thoughts are to try and do the criminal master mind challenge twice to get about 24 mill.

The Criminal Mastermind challenge can only be completed once.

If you have 30 cars and some pegasus vehicles then yes.Anyone saying you need 15,20,25 mil etc is either fully utilising 2 characters or is sh*te with money.

No, anything under 5 million is pretty poor in this game. 35 million here

I don't have enough time to play 8 hours a day. I'm not in middle school. I don't have time to play because I'm busy making a lot of actual money. Therefore, I can afford $60 in Shark Cards without having to stress over it. Sorry about your updates, bruh.

Depends on what type of player you are.

I personally don't go on free roam rampages, so no money is spent on insurance claims and I spend very little on ammo for heists.

I'm a huge petrol head, so pretty much all of my $ is spent on cars and modding them ...I treat myself to the occasional luxury attire, so them Louboutins and coats will definitely be purchased.

I'm sitting at 4 milli right now and feel that's good enough for the update as aircrafts ain't my thing.

I'm a typical poor person... once I save enough to buy something I want, I spend it all, zero out my account, and start from scratch.

... this might explain a bit about my real life finances, too...

Agree with you.

I don't see why Shark Card buyers get so much grief on here.

I've never bought the said cards myself and I'm not in a position right now to do so as I'm saving for my first property.. But hell, if I wasn't saving, I'd buy the occasional Shark Card too.

I started the weekend with 8 million plus and ended it with near 11 million...i think that will cover me for the update, especially because I'm not really interested in useless aircrafts or more super cars. I'm interested in new weapons and maybe some of the new clothes. I doubt I spend more than a couple million over this update. And isn't the upcoming weekend supposed to be double money? I'll make it back easy.

I think somebody's a little upset that they can't afford to buy Shark cards. I can afford to buy billions in Shark cards, but WGAF?

OP. a couple of more million and you'll be just fine.

Exactly. Don't tell someone to "actually play the game" or to "farm missions" or to "grind." It's just not an option for everyone, especially adult gamers. I get one day a week typically where I can play for an extended period of time. Other than that it's a half hour or hour here and there. I usually spend that time doing a heist and then driving around actually enjoying the sandbox in front of me. It shouldn't be a "grind." My grind is my actual work week. This is supposed to be my release. Edited by TheFreshPence
