Is 3.1 million alot of money?

I've been grinding missions for a while because of the new update but I'm not sure if I have enough. If it isn't can you tell how much money would be considered alot?

That is decent money but not a lot these days sadly. A lot of money is 5 million or higher.

I wouldn't consider that a lot of money. It's still a decent amount, but if you're not paying attention it will go away very quickly.

Depends on your play style and your situation. For me, I don't blow up cars often so I'm not paying for repair fees. And I've bought all my cars and 3 houses. So I don't spend money that often. When I get below 100k, I start to panic and feel broke. But even below 1 million, I feel comfortable.

 

If you're someone who constantly blows up cars, constantly buys cars, changing your mind on car, style, color, apartment location, then yeah.

 

 

In all honesty, now that I think about it, it's not terribly expensive to enjoy yourself in GTA online.

No not really but it's good for a beginner. However you'd need at least ten million though. Aim for 5 million instead. I been spending 100k on explosives almost ever 2 sessions.

A good free roam war can set me back 250-500k in a couple of hours. If I drop under 5m I usually start farming heists. 3.1 is decent enough if you're not getting into free roam battles or wanting everything in new updates - though I don't see the point in buying everything for the sake of it, a few cars will do me.

Well, that depends entirely on your level of consumerism. If you're into Pegasus vehicles - it's not alot. If you're more restrained with your spending, it should be plenty.

Relatively speaking no (a large percentage of GTA players are millionaires or billionaires) and for the update I would say no as well, I figure this update will be around $8-12 million to get everything.

 

If anything it will give you perspective on what you REALLY want (I have so much crap I never use or wear cluttering my menu.)

It's a lot if you don't spend a lot. Really depends on play styles. Is it a lot for every new vehicle that will come out this week including upgrades? Probably not.

It's enough to keep it going for a while, but you'll be short on cash if you buy the new dlc stuff. 15+ mil is on the safe side.
