Bulletproof windows

Okay, but you can't use weapons from inside of it.

How about you can if you sacrifice the protection of the windows you shoot through.

No. You can't just elbow a bullet proof window so you can attack. You have to choose offense or defense.

due to the nature of my work i have been inside IRL armored SUVs and while they have really thick 2-3 inch bp glass, the windows are still funtional, you can roll down the windows if you want to.

samething can be done in case bp glass get added to lsc.

Rolling a window down smashing out a window.

This is also a game, not real life. You need to bring balance to the game and having the option to turn bp windows on and off is bullsh*t.

E: there also isn't a feature to roll down a window.

$200,000 EACH (windshield, doors, back window, extra windows[insurgent])

For each? What kind of crack are you on?

We should be able to purchase bulletproof windows. Make them $200,000 each. In order to shoot out of them, you'd have to break the window

I think this is a good idea, as long as the only method to break the window is a headbutt that costs 90% of your health. :p

How will it be OP when the car itself isn't bulletproof and the driver will not be able to use any guns or explosives in it? The only thing the driver will be able to do is try to run over the player and most likely meet the rocket of an RPG or homing launcher. Buying protection for each set of windows is a retard move especially when it's at 200k.

Oh and making it that expensive isn't going to make it less OP. It just means it's going to be very pricey.

we have no feature to roll down but sometimes my car spawn with all windows rolled down...

i think it can easily be implemented, just like we can drop the top of convertible cars

Good idea but once it's on a car, the occupants should not be able to shoot fom it

Would come in useful for my Super Diamond

You can roll the window down by flipping the bird your window rolls down before you put your hand out just can't roll it back up. Just switch to unarmed while in a vehicle and press the fire button while looking in the direction of the window you want rolled down. Lol noobs

I wonder why we've never been able to simply wind our windows down to shoot. It could be automatic. As soon as we try to shoot while in our car, our window winds down. Then, like bike helmets, if we're no longer shooting, we automatically wind up.

Yes but if it was done like this:

Once the glass is broken (via drive-by, collision, etc) that window is no longer protected and you can now be shot out. also the exposed player in the vehicle can now shoot

Can be shot through by certain guns (mainly the heavy sniper comes into mind)

Chooses the one gun, above all others, that naturally should penetrate such glass. Go figure.

Yes, I want BP windows on my Insurgent, only way to kill me then if you insist on doing that is explosives. :)

I'm not quite sure why honestly.

For pvp FR combat, it would just mean people would use explosives. For those who wish to avoid combat and use Insurgents for that atm, we just need proper passive mode that works in vehicles on LG.

Also, you should know making any item expensive means squat when people have glitched millions left and right. Making anything expensive just means it would be out of reach of the cleanest or newest players.

That's not entirely true, yes I'm a retired pimp from my hooker days but I still make millions by doing missions. Besides if a player can't make 200 to 400k in a few days something is wrong.

In that case what's the point of doing anything (relatively) expensive?

I just feel like when people have ideas about new things, or buffs/nerfs and attach a price tag or level lock to that feature, it's always to accommodate them. I.e. someone level 230 will say something should be level locked to 200, a level 600 wants things level locked at 500, a billionaire wants everything to be expensive etc.

Which wouldn't be that bad if it usually wasn't to get a competitive advantage. Like with the endless HL debate.

If there would be bulletproof glass upgrades for cars it should be expensive and only apply to the windshield. No need to go any further.

I can just imagine the number of people who would use this to hide from bounty hunters in their almost invincible insurgents though

And then the jets show up.

It's true that the Insurgent is a tough nut to crack even for jets, but on the other hand it can't retaliate effectively even if the occupants are able to shoot out Kuruma-style.

The community doesn't need more excuses to use explosives as the go-to weapon.

How do you break your bulletproof windows? with your bare hands? You step out of the car and use a hammer?

Damn...

The Lone Wanderer

yes but make them bullet RESISTANT, rather than bulletproof

1 magazine should destroy them at mid range.

and you remove them rather than break them with your elbow
