Recommended Posts

Mr Wet

trying to set vehicle mods on to car aka like bumper ect.

at the moment i am trying to do it like this

        new GTA.MenuButton("Front Bumper - 2", ()=>{GTA.VehicleMod.FrontBumper.Equals(2);}),        new GTA.MenuButton("Front Bumper - 3", ()=>{GTA.VehicleMod.FrontBumper.Equals(3);}),        new GTA.MenuButton("Front Bumper - 4", ()=>{GTA.VehicleMod.FrontBumper.Equals(4);}),        new GTA.MenuButton("Front Bumper - 5", ()=>{GTA.VehicleMod.FrontBumper.Equals(5);}),

im unsure if that is right but it dont do anything ingame.

also does anyone know how to change the menu color ect on scripthook?

so like this should work?

GTA.Native.Function.Call(GTA.Native.Hash.SET_VEHICLE_MOD_KIT, GTA.Game.Player.LastVehicle.Handle, 0);        CloseMenus();        Base.HeaderFont = GTA.Font.Pricedown;        Active_Menu = new GTA.Menu("Front Bumper", new GTA.MenuItem[]{                   new GTA.MenuButton("Front Bumper - 1", ()=>{Game.Player.LastVehicle.SetMod(VehicleMod.FrontBumper, 1,true);}),        new GTA.MenuButton("Front Bumper - 2", ()=>{Game.Player.LastVehicle.SetMod(VehicleMod.FrontBumper, 2,true);}),        new GTA.MenuButton("Front Bumper - 3", ()=>{Game.Player.LastVehicle.SetMod(VehicleMod.FrontBumper, 3,true);}),        new GTA.MenuButton("Front Bumper - 4", ()=>{Game.Player.LastVehicle.SetMod(VehicleMod.FrontBumper, 4,true);}),        new GTA.MenuButton("Front Bumper - 5", ()=>{Game.Player.LastVehicle.SetMod(VehicleMod.FrontBumper, 5,true);}),

GTA.Native.Function.Call(GTA.Native.Hash.SET_VEHICLE_MOD_KIT, GTA.Game.Player.LastVehicle.Handle, 0);        CloseMenus();        Base.HeaderFont = GTA.Font.Pricedown;        Active_Menu = new GTA.Menu("Front Bumper", new GTA.MenuItem[]{                   new GTA.MenuButton("Front Bumper - 1", ()=>{Game.Player.LastVehicle.SetMod(VehicleMod.FrontBumper, 1,true);}),        new GTA.MenuButton("Front Bumper - 2", ()=>{Game.Player.LastVehicle.SetMod(VehicleMod.FrontBumper, 2,true);}),        new GTA.MenuButton("Front Bumper - 3", ()=>{Game.Player.LastVehicle.SetMod(VehicleMod.FrontBumper, 3,true);}),        new GTA.MenuButton("Front Bumper - 4", ()=>{Game.Player.LastVehicle.SetMod(VehicleMod.FrontBumper, 4,true);}),        new GTA.MenuButton("Front Bumper - 5", ()=>{Game.Player.LastVehicle.SetMod(VehicleMod.FrontBumper, 5,true);}),

I recommend do something like this:

private void SetFrontBumper( int bumper ){	Function.Call( Hash.SET_VEHICLE_MOD_KIT, Game.Player.LastVehicle.Handle, 0 );	Game.Player.LastVehicle.SetMod( VehicleMod.FrontBumper, bumper, true );}...new GTA.MenuButton("Front Bumper - 1", ()=>{ SetFrontBumper(1); }),new GTA.MenuButton("Front Bumper - 2", ()=>{ SetFrontBumper(2); })etc

SET_VEHICLE_MOD_KIT activates mod ability for some time. So, after some time you should call it again.

I.e. the above-described method ensures that your bumper will be applied to the car.

Active_Menu.SelectedItemColor, Active_Menu.HeaderColor, etc

in case you want to learn what you did wrong you should google what the equals method is...

GTA.VehicleMod.FrontBumper.Equals(2)

this checks if front bumber is = to 2 and returns true or false (bool)

(gta uses numbers for stuff like vehicle parts)

Firstly you should create menu (new Gta.Menu), then change color.
