gta4_player Posted June 4, 2015 Share Posted June 4, 2015 I love this game so much that I have begun to think if there are any similar games like this. I mean the game which is open world so you can plan strategy or interact with other players. For example, in GTA Online during PvP yoy need to think where to take cover or how to surprise your opponent by being on the roof etc... I have thought about DayZ or H1Z1, are they as fun as GTA:O? FlacidJack Posted June 4, 2015 Share Posted June 4, 2015 Arma has a mod called "life" that is somewhat similar to GTAO but not as polished. The ArmA 3 version has even more similarities like a cel phone and virtual garage to store owned vehicles plus the map (Altis) is like 10x the size of Los Santos (270 km). You knda have to be in a role playing mood to enjoy that mod the most. If you like the DayZ mod or even standalone you might like the ArmA 2 & 3 mod called Epoch. It's just like DayZ but you can also build a base by hand then defend it and gett emotionally attached to it before the server decides to shut down (that's eye sweat not tears!), that's the mod I like best. Quinn got it right. you're looking for games like All Points Bulletin. it's an MMO about urban crime and gang warfare.https://www.gamersfirst.com/apb/ be the bad guys or play as the police. customize all your sh/t including guns, clothes, cars, etc. you can perform most crimes as a team or be a solo vigilante and see how long you can last. there's also some racing and mini games which aren't just focused on combat. it's a decent game but I haven't played it since like 2011.
