Getting called a modder

I love it when other players call you a modder because you are kicking their asses at the game.

 

I went after a bounty and got it. A few minutes later the ex bounty and his friend are chasing me in their Zentorno. I get enough ahead to get out of my car and blow them up. They were close enough to my car that when I blew them up my car blew up. They ended up having to pay the insurance on my car. After that they constantly called me a modder because of that.

 

Just because I am opening up a can of whoopass on you does not mean I am a modder.

 

Is modding the first excuse these people go to as a reason for why they suck?

There are many retards in GTA online, just ignore them or change lobby or report them for language harassment

It's also the excuse most kids use after you beat them in consecutive races.

 

I ended up in a kiddie race lobby the other day and something occured to me, "I wonder how many wins it'll take before they acuse me for glitching and hacking". It only took 4 consecutive wins.

 

After I beat them 4 times in row in coupe races (Not Super ), they accused me of modding and cheating because I was outcornering them and outaccelerating them in a Zion XS, they were all the driving the Sentinel XS. Apparently logic doesn't occur to kids (when did it ever ), of course the best car in a class is going to be beat the sh*ttest one and me being a much better driver than them is only going to give me an even bigger edge.

Every online game in history good players have been accused of cheating. I love being called a mod and have been called a cheat all the way back to the days of CS 1.2. Take it as a compliment as i do.

I sometimes feel a little disappointed when I have to tell someone I'm not a modder. I get asked every now and then in a public lobby. I'm assuming they want me to drop money bags for them.

People call me a hacker just because I'm 237. And when I play online I just mind my own business, unless there are some fights which I can join.

 

People still don't get that this game is out since 2013

I get texted in game regularly asking if I'm a hacker, solely because I'm level 270something lol, I find it funny cause then I get the opportunity to f*ck with the poor chap who asked

the higher in rank you get, the more you get called a modder, the more you get kicked because of you "modded ranks" and the more messages and friend request you would receive of people asking for money!

 

 

i get that all the time, add a high KD ratio to the mix and thats all the "evidense" people need to call you a modder!

I got called a modder when i created a new character on an alt account. Owned some ppl around level 100 that came at me. However even as a level 1-10 you can now buy the DLC weapons. So i did just that.

 

They even went as far as saying they were gonna report me because they now had evidence. Still not sure what evidence they had though. Meanwhile some dumbass gone off-radar only to stand on a mine i laid there as it was the only path to come up to behind me. Then he cursed at his mic while his flaming carcass fell nearby me.

 

Being a low level doesn't matter these days anymore with all these DLC weapons.

I'm getting called cheater (from idiots with 150+ lvl using scriptkiddies, thinking they are "modders"........) while i'm level 51 because my skills are almost at max except Strength to 3/5 and Lung Capacity to 2/5.

It's funny, they don't understand (they play since the PS3 version....), that they will win much more skills in missions rather than to act like assholes in freeroam using wastefully their ammos and money but now, they can beg in chat to ask money from other scriptkiddies... or use themselves some scriptkiddies to play the "Modders"... and kill low levels to have a better ratio and come in this kind of forum to play the big bosses and the very good players...

Sadly, I've only been accused of modding once, by this rank 20-something who rode up to Hookies and attacked my rank 38. Went 9-0 on that fight before he scuttled off to send me the text.

 

I'd love to say I was so awesome that my combat moves looked like magic, but the truth is that my opponent was just a terrible fighter. My 'mod' was nothing more sinister than free-aim kills past AA lock-on range.

Yep. Lot of time when you are high rank, you will get text message like every time. Apparently, people still appears not understand of this game came out 2013. Even some of players do praise me being helpful. I usually do that all the time.

 

Only recently today and I was currently Rank 585 and kept going for more. But, only one player who is Rank 2 in session text me if I am modder/hacker.

 

Answer is always is no.

 

People these days sometimes never seen dedicated players can go that far about Rank and everything.

 

What I read other forumers' posts, I believed people out there accusing you like that it's what being jealous about your Rank and/or your skills.

I get the 'players are voting to kick you' message in I'd say 2 out of every 3 lobby's since I hit level 400. Last few weeks as I approached 450 I'm getting messages in several different languages from all over the place saying I'm gonna get banned or that they have reported me for cheating, DNS codes (erm oooookkkaaayyy), modding, hacking, whatever they can imagine they throw at me. When I translate the messages, all it ever comes back as is, "I'm so impatient and useless at this game that instead of playing it, I'm going to try ruin it for somebody who has been playing it for over a year and a half"

Fkin losers, I hope they end up causing their own bans for false reporting.

They don't even seem to have a basic grasp of technology if they are accusing players of such things on ps4.

I have a few friends (definitely not me) who always bitch and moan when someone kills them and calls that player a modder.

 

I'm all fairness to my not so bright friends, the fights in these situations usually aren't fair. By that I mean that the oponent ( the one being called a modder) is actually a horrible lagger.

 

Sure, you shot him 3 times but you are shooting at an "afterimage" of where he was 2 seconds ago not where he is now. A lot of players who think they "kick ass" only do so because of their crappy connection leaving an afterimage like they are freaking Goku or something making killing them extremely difficult.

im a higher than average rank but don't get called out very often. buuuuuutt when i do get the "are you a modder" i just play dumb and say "yes i mod cars" then they respond "gimme money" so i rob a store and give them $200 so they can "mod" their car.

 

other times i say if i really was a modder, would i really pick this low x rank or being stuck playing these random entry level contact missions?
