You know what i'd like.....personal Body guards that actually flow you around and help in missions and $hit......like i imagine we'd be able to chose what sex they are, their outfits/themes and for them to have a car that they all follow you around with....personally i don't mind Golden "stripper" looking girls with ak47's and rocket launchers following me...#pimplife

Like I said before EVERY update comes with something new. regardless of what Is revealed! Every update has,from beach bum to lTS-LTS death matches heist-point feature, festive surprise even came with throwing snowballs feature!.do your homework. So to say I'm over thinking it, is ubsurd!

Not true at all. The "I'm not a Hipster" update came with nothing but clothes and guns and a few new races. Hardly new services?

As well as the "Dangerous Business Pack" coming only with guns, jobs and clothes. No new services there.

And the Beach Bum? Well unless you count Guns, boats, cars and jobs as "services," you'll have no luck there.

 

Maybe you should do your homework there, eh?

 

But hey, we'll wait and see. And when the update gets released, I'll be sure to bump this thread so everyone can se how wrong you were, and you can apologise for being a dick to everyone who disagreed with you.

I think the new service is disappointment, as in, the disappointment that a lot of people are going to have when they realise the update only includes cars and a gun.

 

Oh, and maybe some new verified jobs or something,

Just thought of this last night. I wonder if there was something they might add in "services" to the phone contacts. For example, Brucie has only the Bull Shark Testosterone thing right now, but they could always (pretty easily, I suppose) more contact services.

 

FOr example:

 

Gerald could have a service added where he gives you the information on the location of a drug deal to rip off, and you get a location on a map with a few enemies and a some cash that they are guarding.

 

You could call Lamar, and an NPC with a good amount of money appears on the map and he gives you the locations (essentially you become the mugger on an NPC instead of him sending someone to mug a PC for you)

 

Brucie could send one of his juiced-up friends to you to work as muscle for a while.

 

For that matter, some of the others could do the same. Brucie could send roid heads, Gerald or Lamar could send Families members, Martin could send some of his cartel guys. All for a fee, basically NPC's that stay with you and fight with you for a certain period of time, like the call backup you could get from what's his name in GTA IV.

probably refers to the service of having your pegasus vehicles delivered; after all they didn't specifically word it as "new services" unless i'm mistaked. but i for one would welcome a brokerage service that sells my pegasus vehicle time-share to someone else.

So u trying to tell me that after 2 years of this game developing & getting better & better, rockstar isn't Goin to add nothing bUT cars clothes and guns? Sorry but that sounds out right stupid! Every update comes with a new activity, contact missions etc..something. . even when it was beach bum, high life ,heist all came with new features

Believe me, I appreciate your enthusiasm, I genuinely do; there's nothing I would love more than for R* to add some truly game changing features with the upcoming update, but it's literally going to be vehicles, guns and clothes. No they don't; a few updates may have come with some new kind of activity, but most were the standard Cars and Clothes deal. Let's go through them:

 

Beach Bum Update: Vehicles, guns and clothes

 

Valentines Day Massacre Special: Themed vehicles, guns and clothes.

 

The Business Update: Vehicles, guns and clothes.

 

The High Life update: Vehicles, guns, clothes and a new apartment interior (Truly game changing!)

 

The I'm Not a Hipster Update: Vehicles, guns and clothes.

 

The Independence Day Special: Themed vehicles, guns and clothes.

 

The Flight School Update (generally considered the worst update): Vehicles, guns, clothes, parachutes and the Flight School.

 

The Last Team Standing Update: Vehicles, guns and clothes.

 

Festive Surprise: Vehicles, guns and clothes.

 

The Heists Update: Vehicles, guns, clothes plus an array of new gameplay features including Heists.

 

Right, so lets review. Out of 10 updates, R* has had two where they've added additions to gameplay other than vehicles cars and guns. New Deathmatches, LTS', Captures aren't really anything new, other than being new maps for a gameplay feature that's already been played to death.

 

Your logic is void.

They're hardly services; they're activities you can take part in once you've purchased a ridiculously priced aircraft. Services would be things like a chauffeur or a personal tailor, not the same thing in the slightest.
