No It would actually improve Michael's character development, and overall V's story. There was not one single tragic death that happen who is affiliated with the three protags, and IMO it lacks a strong storyline. I would of loved to have seen Devin Weston actually sent Merryweather to slaughter Michael's family, and was successful at doing it. I wanted to see the total breakdown of Michael, and see his true form that Trevor knew from the old days. I wanted to see Michael get enraged after seeing his dead family laying on the blood stained floor inside of his house. Now that I think of it..... it would of been nice to see Dave Norton and Steve Haines actually do something for Michael for a change, and use their FIB influence to raid Merryweather and Devin Weston to sought revenge for Michael's families death as they could frame Devin and Merryweather for all the sh*t that they've done. This would not only improve Michaels character, but also help restore the relationship that Trevor and Michael had. It would also give Steve Haines and Dave Norton some character development as well.
