Had 500K now I have 5 Mil?

So I was on some online session looking for rare car spawn because I saw a youtube video.

I get to the location and i get killed by another player who tries to steal my car but I have it on passenger mode only.

I respawn and go back to my car to find another rare spawn and before I can get in the vehicle.

All of my money starts to drop on the ground in what looked like cloth bags ofc full of money.

I desperatly start pickign my money on the ground as its falling from me and mind you all of my money is in the bank.

It was falling in bags worth either 4K or 40K i couldnt tell I was really pissed it was happening.

I pick it all up and leave the session ... Im thinking ohh man that was close I almost lost 500K in 15 secs.

Join a new session and now I have 5 Million....wtf

 

Im going to get banned for this now?

 

anyone know or can guide me on who I need to contact about this.

I hate cheaters and dont want to get banned for this.

If you weren't the one spawning those bags, the worst they'll usually do is remove the amount of cheated money. If you're lucky or they just feel generous they may just not remove the money at all. Either way you're fine.

You'll be fine, but if it really freaks you out you can email Rockstar support. Either way though, you won't get banned or anything for receiving the money, it's only when you are the one passing the bucks around that you need to worry.

What the f*ck, new methods to f*ck up legit players? That type of modders should be killed with a 12 gauge shotgun.

Yeah right!

 

I do want to stress that all of my money fell on the ground 1st and it was spawning from me.

I saw my money decreasing on the top right as I tried to pick it up.

So some how the cheater was able to get me to drop all of my money on the ground.

Then he must have spawned more money in the same spot.

I don't know but its so lame!

kinda game breaking for us purist !

Na...no way you can get banned from this. A similar thing happened to my friend online and he didn't get banned but they just removed the money as everyone else said. These are just some bugs rockstar need to fix since your not the only one having these type of bugs.

I don't think so. Rockstar has terrible customer support. They don't bother helping their customers when they need the help. A while back my cousin had some issues in gta online. So he called them 2 times..they didn't answer So he sent them an email the day after. That was back in March..it's 2 been a months no replies. You get my point? They may be busy at times but they must have sometime to help their customers. Edited by GTA_The_Series

Next time a modder bothers you, quit the game using xmb/dashboard - it won't save the game that way...
