I get your point but I kinda disagree on one part.

 

People is free to post whatever they feel like. Making a thread in a public site has the risk of having people disagreeing with your post. That's what happens in forums, people have different points of view and it's kinda unfair to say "you can only have positive opinions". As far as I know, expecting only roses in a forum is dumb, let alone the GTA Online forum. For example, I don't think this deserves its own thread since there's one related already but I won't piss on the OP, it's just my point of view.

I do not see these threads as self validation posts...I see them as giving props to the players crewmates instead. Good Job OP ! Its a great feeling to play with competent people.

 

Then tell your teammates that. Not a bunch of random strangers.

 

I am sure he/she did. But also, depending on where the crew mates were acquired, it is a nice notable mention to give props to the people who helped. I know myself, i have made several friends here through the meet ups. So its letting other members know who is good/helpful and who is not. Believe me, i have met my fair share of assclowns here too. So i personally applaud anyone who takes the time to mention good crew mates.

 

On a side note....this is a GTA community, so if one cannot boast/brag or discuss GTA accomplishments, then where else can it be done and be accepted ?

This challenge is not really that difficult to complete anymore. That's the reason why a lot of people think it doesn't deserve it's own thread. I agree with them. It was only a challenge at first when heists came out and nobody knew what they were doing.

 

I've done it twice already and I'm on my way to do this challenge for the third time.

 

Two months is also a long time. I did it the first time with a few friends in a few days. We didn't even use the turn off your console method if someone dies because we didn't know about it then.

it's was a blast but finally it's over and for that im happy. the hardest part was finding a team that won't start drama and have the motivation to do it. took us 3 retries due to the game crashing on us. but its done finally....I can join the mastermind club.

Funny, I just completed the challenge a few hours ago. Started hanging around this group of players doing random heists, I noticed they were well talented. I asked if anyone was interested in the Criminal Mastermind Challenge.

 

Next thing I know, we're looking for the last player of the crew. We find him and the rest is history.

 

None of use used mics. I noticed they had chemistry when I first joined them...you could tell they've been playing together for a while. Knowing that, I followed their lead.
