Lethal Vaccine

Stupid Mobile and the Parachute Creation Glitch. Idk why GTASnP ALWAYS detects this for Mobile Saves. You get rid of it, yet it comes back. No idea what it is or why it happens, either...

 

It seems like when you have a Parachute in your inventory, you get the glitch. Ever since I refrained from picking them up, it stays away. Luckily it's not in my Mobile Save.

I get the impression that he have used my starter save thats why parachute glitch is detected in his save.

nope. why would he reqest sonebody to do unique jumps if your save has them conpleted?

70/70 stunts done. picked up uzi amo once, modded a infernus with nitro cause a nrg500 wasnt fast enough. the infernus is stored in vm garage. and theres an nrg500 in prickle pine, (i believe)

It could be that I don't fully understand the parachute glitch and the detection routine is too sensitive. Don't worry about it unless you can't start missions or they crash for no reason. I'll try to look into this more.

Nobody knows exactly, but your Save has the Glitch. Mine had it for a while, too, but it's easy to get rid of by parachuting down to the ground normally in free roam, which clears the Glitch. Unfortunately it appears, or at least to me, if you are holding a Parachute in your Inventory, you will get the Glitch again. When I don't pick them up and stay away from them, I don't get the Glitch. I could be wrong about having one in your inventory, but it seems like it could have something to do with it...

 

The Glitch makes some Missions crash. If this KEEPS happening repeatedly, it could be from the Glitch. However, SA Mobile in general crashes a lot. III, VC, and CTW all on Mobile are perfect for me. It's just SA with this crashing problem...

 

I am currently working on my III Mobile Save now and never experience crashing. Unfortunately, unlike SA and CTW for Mobile, III and VC are NOT compatible between iOS/Android. I am doing it on iOS, so it can only work for others with iOS. NOT Android, etc...

Okay, I give up. I know the current detection method on SnP is wrong though. So ignore it.

 

Some missions hang or crash, and landing a parachute normally can clear up the issue, but I'm not having any luck tracking down the specific variables involved. I tried looking for old topics but can't find anything. I guess I'll have to wait until a natural glitch pops up again so I can take a closer look.

 

I'd also like to make some progress on some other parachute glitches of 1) parachute won't open, can't control direction, and 2) can't control parachute after it's open.

 

I only learned one thing, and it doesn't seem to help. If CJ lands in water without opening the chute then the creation stage stays at an advanced level, but this effect doesn't seem to do anything harmful, and gets fixed by saving, so I don't think that matters.
