Crystal3lf Posted June 4, 2015 Share Posted June 4, 2015 This is due to the fact that it must sync and stream in the rest of the players in the lobby first. What they're doing/seeing has to be synced to your character first, otherwise you would see different things on the screen from another person. Put these things together with 29 other people and depending on how good the other 29 peoples PC's are will determine how long it takes to load. When people wonder why we don't have 64+ player slots on PC, this is why. Blame the people playing GTA with GT610's. When I play in a lobby with my friend who has SLI 980's, it literally loads almost as quick as singleplayer does. People will say "omg battlefield can have 64 players omfg hurr durr", yeah it can, but that's because Battlefield doesn't have nearly 10% of the content GTA V has to load. TL;DR Not Rockstar's fault.
