ctan800
Make sure you have... 1. All three apartments/garages in Tinsel Towers. The closest I know of to the downtown LSC. You can buy exactly three. 2. Have a second character on your Swap Character option already made, hopefully with all car mods unlocked. 3. Install only the value-adding upgrades. I don't know of the entire list that would count towards your resale value, but I added the most expensive I can find (including $50,000 Jazz Horn) while leaving out ignition bombs and license plates. I was determined to keep both of my Kurumas on my two characters so I am looking at 29 Adders (Fully Modded) x 2 Characters x $786,102 (actual price) = $45,593,916 You can sell a car every 48 minutes. size_m
1. you don't have the 48mins delay for selling cars which are legitimately bought from the web site! you can just sell them one after another. 2. why do you need tinsel towers for that?? there are numerous appartments/garages close to some lsc. (and why would it be neccessary to be close to a lsc when you assumed a 48 mins wait time for selling them anyways?? or do you know an appartment which is that far away that you need more than 48 mins to get to the next lsc?) (and why should you be in a hurry to sell your adder bonds as fast as possible in the first place?? i don't get it.) 3. color/painting does not add value to resell price! so you don't need a crome painting on your adder. (the jazz horn i.e. adds alot to the resell value though.) Edited June 3, 2015 by size_m
HEX1GON
Welp, this depends if R* reset all assets you've bought with the modded money from modders/glitches. Be sure it won't but who knows how much of a crackdown will happen. It's also not like modders will be locked out for very long either. As much as it seems that R* rely on video evidence of hax, as their report system and BS can be cleared by the modder.

Chrunchip
haven't played since online heist update for a while now... but there is no reason for Adder bonds at all... i know more than enough people who own illegal millions without any punishment... the hooker glitch for example had never been wiped or reseted afaik. 50m is nothing to worry about... with 500m u should try to stay under R*s radar

ctan800
I just have a bad feeling about this particular incoming ban wave.I play on the PC and hackers have done things more atrocious than what I imagined before I transferred from PS3.On consoles I was never spam killed with explosion or suicide hacks. Although someone did magically drop a ferris wheel right on top of me when I was on passive mode and I instantly exploded and died. And at least half the people I shot in free roam had god mode. Then they tasered me and spawned clones to keep me tasered and turned me into a walking orange. This other time, a modder made money bags fall out the sky and land on my head, causing me to get about 40,000 dollars per bag. Except there is a ton of it. I tried to get away on a Akuma, and every time I stopped the hacker teleported next to me and dropped more money bags. Then I ran into my house, and the hacker somehow broke into my freaking home and dropped money on me. Then I learned how to "Insta-Rage Quit" by switching from MP to SP and back to MP again. By the time it ended I think I had two million more. Once the hackers chased me with teleports + minigun money bags I started getting money I didn't want in mere seconds. Until yesterday, I had about 60 million over the last two weeks when the hackers got really intrusive and prevalent. My solution was to buy every single possible stuff in the game. Then I got to it. And still had like 40 million. Then I realized I can repeatedly buy the Adder and replace the old one by backing out the webpage (after wasting my time buying the same 500K apartment over and over again). But now I got this idea. I believe that the rage against these hackers will urge R* to be much more heavy handed, at least on PC. Not even passive mode 2.0 can stop hackers from killing a lobby now. One levitated me while I was in passive and I died from the falling damage. Also I seen a lot of complaints against R*'s "terrible customer support" and "erroneous bans". And something about identity theft of online purchases of the game. So at this point, if I do have to eat a ban, I lose a Rank 160 character. RogerWho
What incoming ban wave? I've read they plan to wipe illegitimate RP but it was specifically said they won't be banning for it so why would they ban for getting money dropped on you. If they do, they'll probably lose half of the playerbase.
PS-GTAIVplayer
Yesterday my first Kurama shot up in the air suddenly. If I see hackers in a room, I quit instantly, like I did then. I still have some of the story to do.

I'll be online tonight (PST) but I sure hope I don't get repeatedly shot with a money cannon! 2) Does this Adder reproduction glitch work on PC? If so we really need to talk ...so that I don't accidentally do this 20 times myself. Let's talk.
DaltonWilliams123
Wouldn't the best way to hide cash from R* be to simply spend it as you would normally? My theory is that R* will probably be looking for suspicious transactions such as the same vehicle being bought like 30 times? If you just spend it normally surely you won't get banned or have the money taken off you? Just my humble thoughts.
ctan800
Well I did have a second character that I made two years ago. And she was subjected to the "2,496 billion dollar handouts" from hackers surfing each session during the beginning months of online mode's launch. Back then, there was no way in hell I was able to burn that money. Ever. So I understand how Rockstar would simply just put the in-game $ and microtransaction system on reset which is exactly what happened. But from early newsfeed posts of GTA V for the PC, Rockstar was assuring us that money hackers would be taken more seriously. And they implied some sort of currency tracking system as well as "Rockstar's Game Servers keeping an eye on suspected modders through active processes on your computer". So even if you are the receipant of modded money, if it is discovered that you openly endorsed and or spent the money, or god forbid, actually messed with those virus-laden "hacks", you are already marked for a ban or some form of discipline. Because of the upsurge in modder-trolling in all game sessions excluding invite-only, instead of depositing the money, which I realized is shared between both your characters and therefore could be one of the sources R* is looking at for money transfers, I simply spent it. Even if it is the same million dollar item over and over again. I do have a Marshall with the flag of each of the 25 countries as a result of me finding a solution to burn the money. Whatever happened to the early GTAO penalty of "losing all of your money on hand when dying"? I started to play just as R* patched it and made us drop no more than $5,000. I really could use, like falling over dead and leave behind a 6 million dollar charity for the first person that loots me. I came across another money shooter when I was stocking up on snacks for a heist. HEX1GON

HEX1GON
Instead of going through all this pain, why dont you keep it on hand? This Exactly, afaik, never bank. Since bank usually gets reset. However if R* does get very heavy handed, and wouldn't mind fisting. Then all money will be reset. It'd be very difficult to weed it all out between the money you really earned, since I haven't stopped doing missions and heists since money was dropped on me by various modders. It doesn't matter how much you bank. R* will take what you didn't really earn. From the Billiondollar days, I had 6billion. From that 6 billion I was left with 320K, that being the money I actually earned. I never banked any money I got from randomly from a modder for that reason. It's happening pretty often now, and what's also very stupid is that money gets deducted from both sources, in bank and in hand. So I can't even save the money I actually earned. So I haven't banked at all since the modders. I've just heard it's bad to bank the randomly given money from modders. I don't even know if it matters or not, but either way if gets reset, it gets reset doesn't bother me really.
