Hello fellow GTA players!

 

 

I was recently wondering about modding possibilities, and had some questions about what would be possible to mod, and what would be impossible. I thought I would ask on the forums as you modders here are really knowledgeable about GTA V.

 

Will it ever be possible to play as a GTA online protagonist with the facial features, tattoos, shirt logos, etc.?

Currently we can play as an online protagonist but they lack these features. I was wondering if it is possible to play as an online protagonist with these options. I have heard it might be possible through editing meta data but am not sure; does anyone know about this area of modding?

 

 

Will it ever be possible to essentially remove character switch scenes as this can break immersion if you replaced your character model with another?

On the same topic, would it also be possible to mute a protagonist when you have replaced your model? It also breaks immersion to hear, for example Niko talking like Michael, lol.

 

 

I was also wondering if a safehouse type mod is possible with GTA online interiors? I know very little about interiors so I am not sure if something like this would potentially be possible.

I am also wondering if there are any interiors besides the yacht and aircraft carrier that are impossible to use?

 

 

Speaking of the yacht and aircraft carrier I was wondering about why this is impossible to get working? I have heard that these props are stored on Rockstars servers but I cannot find anything to confirm this.

I have heard that in order to spawn these props you have to be in a mission due to some coding parameters so I was also wondering if anyone has tried to spawn it after editing these parameters.

Can't tell you. I don't see why not but just like the carrier and all that jazz, some content seems to be unlocked only through online sessions.

 

I don't find the switch scene to break immersion, on the opposite. And yes I guess, if we can cut the animation for that out of the switch then yes.

And no, well, yes but only by replacing every line of the said character by muted files.

 

Totally possible, link a teleport marker to tp inside of a loaded online appartment. Which can already be loaded into the solo. Then creates zone that trigger sleep animation for example aswell as a save option after the animation. Same for TV is the triggers aren't already here.
