There's also a theory I've read that Elliot might be in prison? Have you noticed like his mother behaves like a prison guard sometimes, and the visit from Gideon looked a bit like visiting a prisoner? I am loving these episodes so far, they are so tense that I literally feel wrecked sometimes, but I love it! That theory actually makes sense. He's only ever in three places. His room, in the diner, or sitting on the bleachers watching basketball. And with the phone hanging on the wall, it seems right. My only question is how Craig Robinson's character fits in. He's seen in that guy's house obviously outside of prison. Maybe he has a psychosis as well. He said he's like Elliot. Maybe that's what he meant. Maybe it's not prison, but a psychiatric hospital. Creed Bratton Posted August 12, 2016 Share Posted August 12, 2016 (edited) Mr. Robot is now entering a really weird zone. It's equal parts brilliant and moronic. I love the second season so far, but there's probably nothing they can do to convince me that it makes any sense for a suicide squad to hit the FBI. I'm OK with that one guy shooting himself in the head because he got shot by that FBI agent, but the other guy had her cornered and he shot himself anyway to make a f*ckin' point or something. There's drama for the sake of good storytelling, and then there's just drama for the sake of drama. The sitcom bit was amazing. Ray was probably one of the guards. When he "kidnapped" Elliot he probably just threw him in solitary confinement.
