It's fine, without insurance we gonna get a lot of kids blowing up cars just to get people mad and not all people like the play PVP like me i'm always on passive mode.

Armored Kuruma's and Insurgents I understand taking the insurance off of since most of the time we defend ourselves from the people driving those. But as for the non armored cars you are just taking the easy way out by blowing them up and you should have to pay for their cars.

Remove or reform BS (Either make it work properly or get rid of it). It is broken for those in it or no deterrent what so ever.

Insurance is fine as is. There is still scope for minor improvement with an exponential rise in payout for blowing up PV's more than once in a set period of time (within 2 minutes IMO).

We need a friendly fire off lobby.

More like anything goes lobbies. That way you can blow up other people and do whatever you want to your heart's content and not just baby up the game for those that don't want it. It allows more harsh punishments in regular lobbies as well to promote a more friendly and social atmosphere.

Agreed, I said that once before. We need a non stop mayhem lobby but sometimes i just want to sit back and relax. When I watched the online trailer I got so excited, it seemed like we could sit back and relax whenever we wanted BUT that is only if the lobby allows it.

Yeah that's why I think those anything goes lobbies would solve it. You could still shoot your friends and sh*t for fun in the other lobbies but they'd be a much friendlier atmosphere in general I think, unless people literally just want to prey on easy targets, then they'd never use the anything goes lobby and f*ck off in the regular ones and bitch lol.

I don't do public sessions because you can't do ANYTHING that involves a gun without some clown going out of their way to f*ck with you. It's not even worth trying to make friends or find people because of that reason. It sucks, but it is what it is. I do wish we had something more though. We are talking about a game whose playerbase seems to think "grand theft auto" means "kill everything you see" though lol.

Keep Insurance the way it is but the owner should NEVER pay for their own vehicle.

Remove the stupid bad sport for destroying PV's and or leaving jobs.

Keep the insurance costs as is + make it so that if you're broke you go into a minus if you blow up a PV. This would prevent banking your cash to another character and going on a PV rampage.

I agree for the most part. I think anything goes would be cool but I don't see it as lets go do a car meet and the whole lobby would say okay and not blow everyone up.

I'm all for carnage and mayhem but some people take it too far and get nasty over chat about it. I do think an anything goes lobby would be a headache with the racial idiots. This community sometimes is its own worse enemy.

God, another one of these damn threads.

And if all you can do to armored Kurumas and Insurgents is blow them up then you have a whole lotta sh*t to learn.

It's not that people can't do it another way (I bet you're referring to quickly tapping L2 to autoaim on the driver too, you moron), it's that people should just be able to play their way without paying some dumb fee.

I'm not a fan of putting players in BS for blowing up PVs but I do see the point since many players would constantly blow every PV they see. It would become like killing hookers if there was no real consequence imo.

The insurance also keeps players aware that using the easy way (explosives) has a price. Sometimes it's worth the cost and other times it's not, to me it's just one more thing to think about instead of just launching the biggest ammo I have at everything that passes by. So I actually like the insurance system, makes it fast to get vehicles back from the dead.

If you serve your time in a bad sport lobby, when you come out you should have a probationary period. If you clear it then your status is reset to the same as everyone elses. If you pay the price you are clear. You should not be punished twice and have it made easier to bo back to bad sport if you have served your "time".

Sending playing back to bad sport more often only encourages them to act badly as they have no really reason to be a clean player.

As for insurance? Keep it set the same for the first destruction. But if a player destroys a pv repeatedly then the insurance price goes up in increments (for that session only).

So if you pay 6k insurance for destroying someones pv the next time you will pay 7k and then 8k. So if a griefer blows up your pv ten times in a row he doesn't pay 60k, he pays 150k. This allows some destruction of pv's but punishes obvious griefers.

+1

And once you go negative, your mechanic quits and all your cars are broken down and out of fuel, so you cannot use them.

Yeah, you get your car back, but it's YOUR fault, so you pay for it.

as a 7 times bad sport veteran, i can say that bad sport in it current state make no sense at all...

i have no problem with insurance, i have problems with receiving bad sport points while paying insurance.

its a double edge sword and a win-win for griefers.

get in armored car go around griefing people, i kill you i win.

easiest way of stopping me is by destroying my car, making you lose money and adding bad sport points to you... i win!

in a perfect world, bad sport wont apply as long as you pay the insurance.

patch 1.16 had it working just perfect. no badsport or insurance for destroying PVs aslong as it was occupied!

@OP - not the results you were expecting, I take it?

less than 50% think bs is ok as is, it works well to stop jet and tank grief imo I admit but there's room for improvement.

about as expected tbh

also surprised the jet grief are owning up lol

and mods this can be locked now

Where I live we have 'no fault' insurance. It makes sense since it's pretty rare that someone wants to damage or destroy their own property. I agree in GTA if I drive my car into the ocean I should pay a fee for a replacement though, just wanted to let you know there are places that insurance companies don't try to avoid paying up by aiming accidents are one persons fault.
