Schweinhund Posted January 11, 2003 Share Posted January 11, 2003 OK I was up to about level 15 when this stuff starts happening flying at the airport, 2 blips appear on the scanner, so I fly over to the airbase and sure enough 1 of the blips is a convoy of 3 motors. OK so what i hear you say. well, during the course of the flight, i hear a sound and the second blip vanishes and the 4 or so kills are recorded in the counter. OK so then i proceed to waste the other crooks and the threat eliminated screen comes up. I wait a couple o secs then it goes up a level. OK still you cry so what. the thing i'm getting at is that the convoy keeps respawning at the same spot, just outside the airbase, and the second target keeps vanishing off the radar, with the counter recording the kills. using this bug i got to level 130 before getting bored and heading to the local off licence for some beer ttfn ps sorry for my unique litary style, i'm trying to work off a massive hangover, and i'm off to the gym..... Candysuxxx Posted January 11, 2003 Share Posted January 11, 2003 yup, got that too annoying but cool, ur getting the money, kills, levels, who cares. bit of a shame though. my convoy that stayed was in a slightly different area, inside the airport not near the army base...but it was the same thing happening. it kept doing it so i tried flying to the first island before pressing r3 for the brown thunder missions and it seemed to stop it happening. you try it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
NinjaCat Posted January 11, 2003 Share Posted January 11, 2003 I think when you do Brown Thunder missions you temporarily become part of the "Army Gang" and they shoot at your vigilante targets if they see them. Whenever I fly over the airbase (no stars now) to take out a BT target i hear m16 fire and then the blip vanishes... so the army must have your back while in the Hunter Out.
