Hi and welcome to the official Junk Drift Shifters

This tournament is set as a giant pinball drifting machine and brought to you by Junk Energy Drink, Legendary Motorsport, Southern San Andreas Super Autos Official Sponsors and Shivace from Tyre Track Racing.

When is it ?

Qualification will run on Saturday TBA/6/2015 at 14:00 GMT +1 and the quarter, semi and final will be held on Sunday TBA/6/2015 16:00 GMT +1.

What Car ?

The first event is all sport car allowed events, anything you like and you can handle well.

you can have only one car model for the entire events (no car swaping), and a second cars(same model) as a backup in case you badly damage your missile.

How does it works?

The events is held on a 30 players race called "Junk Drift Shifters:1".

10 Places are reserved for staff, judges and sponsor. and 10 places for spectator/fan. If there is more than 10 entry, the qualification will be held on successive session. ( you can watch live if you are waiting for the next lobby here --> www.Twitch.tv/shivice_tv)

Competitor will be judges on the following criteria:

Speed:

The Speed that the competitor maintain around the track,

entering corner,

through the corner ( a higher point score will be awarded to a competitor whose vehicle maintains a consistent )

high speed drift

Line:

How closely a competitor is able to follow the line requested by the judges during the drivers' briefing. a higher point score will be awarded to competitors who can most accurately maintain what the judges consider to be the correct line. There will be clipping points, and clipping zones on the track, and combo area. Judges will be requesting drivers to be within a certain distance and anything outside will reset the combo activator and give zero point.

Angle:

The angle of rotation of vehicle about its vertical axis relative to its direction of travel, as well as the competitor's ability to sustain this angle for as long as possible.

A perfect score will be awarded to Competitors who are able to:

quickly generate maximum angle during entry into a corners, from as great distance possible prior to reaching the apex of the corners using a consistent series of drifting motions,

Link Corners using a consistent series of drifting motions,

Maintain a wide angle of drift for sustained periods, and

control the vehicle when maximum amount of opposite lock is used.

Style:

Style comprises the driver's ability to take all of the judge's criteria and then translate this into their own individual style on the track. it takes into account such factors as: fast and aggressive transitions: maintaining maximum angle for as prolonged period as possible along clipping zone or past a clipping point ability to transition the car around the section with limited handbrake corrections; and any other criteria outlined by judges during driver's briefing.

The scoring rules are simple and work pretty much like a pinball machine, one driver run at a time on the track has to score the max point and combo around the track in under 60s.

Judges will be set around keys area of the track to assess the run of the driver, they will then addition all point for the final driver score.

(subject to change, I will post a video with the judges with the explanation of the scoring system)

Point will be given as:

Perfect entry 1000

Perfect exit 1000

Perfect wall-tap, wall-ride (1-5cm)2000, 5-10(1000),

Perfect shift 1000

Perfect angle 1000

Perfect Bonus are awarded in comment accord by 3 judges as +5000 if the style of drifting is insane and more than perfect. speed/angle/line

Combo x2, x3, x4 are activate when 2 perfect successive drift are done less than 5s in between.

Every error during the drift will deduct point from the perfect and reset the combo activator :

- 100 for small collision

- 200 for a medium collision

- 300 for a stop (loss of power)

- 500 for a heavy collision

- 1000 for a spin

you can train on it, is almost same rules as the real red bull drift shifters. just need to work out exactly how is going to be judge ^^

 

and I may change the diametre of the half circle.
