I still don't understand the car spawning

So I'm on PS3 and I'm looking for a Manna and a Bagger. I know the Bagger appears on Simeon's list which makes it spawn but I can't get the list to change. I've switched sessions many times and gone to single player and back but the list stays the same. Also the cars that spawn on the street seem to more or less stay the same across sessions. I've also been looking for ways to get the game to load a new set of cars with no consistent success.

So basically I have 2 questions. Is there a way to force Simeon's list to change and what causes the game to load a new set of vehicles?

The only way to make Simeon's list change in your case is to take a car from that list to him, then later a new list should go through. I usually play missions to change the cars spawning.

Turn in a car on the list. Boom. List disappears and a new list will follow some time after.

Time. Time causes the game to load a new set of vehicles.

Grab and deliver one from his list. Boom, new list after a period. The bagger often spawns at LSC parking lot near Vinewood.

So everybody online at any given time is seeing the same cars spawning?

I just stole a car on the list, repainted it and got disconnected and sent to SP. When I came back I had a different list. Maybe you don't actually have to deliver the car.

People are writing nonsense. When you deliver a car to Simeon, you'll get a new one only after 24 IRL hours.

From what I've gathered, Simeon's lists are synchronized to everyone. When you compare your list to someone else's it's always the same. But they change after a while, maybe every 1 or 2 hours. Changing sessions has nothing to do with it.

Also, I've never seen any indication that Simeon's wanted list causes the particular car to spawn. I believe it's an urban legend. If anything, I see less Patriots when Simeon asks for them, I've never seen Daemon or Bagger when Simeon wants them and I've never seen a Tailgater ever.

As for spawning, it's mostly random with some loose rules. First (at least on LG), cars appear in batches and depend on other players. So if a Baller randomly spawns for someone, there will be a lot of Ballers nearby for everyone, and you may never see a Manana in that session. If there's a very low-level in the session who doesn't have their PV yet, you'll see a crapload of Fusilades everywhere so they can steal one, and you wont' see any Ubermachts.

Some cars are related, so e.g. driving a muscle car around a muscle car spawning area will cause other muscle cars to spawn. I also think that driving a motorcycle will cause more bikes to spawn everywhere (especially Bati 801's and Vaders), but it's not that reliable. For some reason, the only times I found Daemons to spawn was when I was driving a Sentinel, strangely. The Voodoo only spawns at Sandy Shores but it took me weeks to find a session where it actually appears, other times I was just driving around for hours with no Voodoo anywhere. Then when one showed up after I changed sessions, I've met like 30 of them in the next few minutes.

It's just weird and I wouldn't rely on any rules much.

I'm curious what people have to say about this because I get the same feeling. Although last time I was trying to find the Bagger I did see a Tailgater at the golf course while it was on the list. Edited by Kampioen

I know this is off topic, but your signature seriously. People like you are the problem with this country. Now then, sometimes what you drive can determine what cars spawn in traffic, although some people debate this as well.

Found my Manana by luck, just need a Bagger now.

Another thing: if it's true that the cars found on the street change with time, do they change one by one or a new set all at once?

From SeaWallTX's thread

http://gtaforums.com/topic/707912-exploitsglitches-compiled-list-for-update-thread/?view=getnewpost

Apprently works 50% of the time

Requires: You MUST already have a List from Simeon.

~Once you are in an "Online Session" wait until you get a "Wanted Vehicle" List from Simeon,(About once every 24hrsIRL.)

~Now if you do NOT like the list(usually because it is the list of the cheapest Vehicles) then continue on, if not find on of the Vehicles and take it to his Warehouse on the port,

~Then if you do NOT like the list press "Start" to pause the game and go to "Online">"Creator",

~Then once then "Creator" loads up press "Start" to pause the game and go to "Online">"SystemStore",

~Then when the "SystemStore" loads up, disconnect from the internet:

PS3-press "PS Button" go to "Account Management" and press "Triangle">"X">"PS Button".

Xbox360-Disconnect you Ethernet Connection.

~Now it WILL kick you back to Single Player(from here on SP),

~Then once in SP press "Start" to pause the game and go to "Online" and it will tell you that you need to sign in, so do do,(Xbox360 user must re-connect your Ethernet NOW.)

~Now press "Start" to pause the game and go to "Online">"Go"-or-"Invite Only Session"(whichever you prefer),

~Now when you load into an "Online Session" you should get a NEW list,

This list will change from session to session at first, but will eventually settle on one and stick with it for 24 hours, at which point the cycle resets. Alternatively, logging out for extended periods will get you a new list.

Simeon's list absolutely does spawn the cars/bikes on it, just not all of them at the same time.

Pretty much everything worth delivering spawns in the Eclipse/Del Pierro/LSC triangle, except the Tailgater which only spawns in the Golf Course parking lot.

The most valuable car to deliver to Simeon is the F620 - $12K undamaged.

Oh, and if you want different cars to spawn in the street, enter and exit your garage/LSC, or change the car you're driving.

Yes... Just like all sessions are the same exact time.

Hey jackass, people like me are who built this country. Your right to whine and cry is there because somebody fought for it. You ungrateful little sh*t.

Tails Prower

The simplest way to get a new list is do a mission - complete it and the game should spawn you

a new car list.

Failing that go out to story mode and come back online and it may generate you a different car list.

CarimboHanky

stop looking for it and it would appear...

its a know rule for car hunters.

the game have some sort of psychic thing going on that would cause the car you want to oretty much banish, stop spawning.

to change the car spawns i just go into the ps store and back into the game

Generally at least one of the simeon vehicles will always spawn at the golf club. You may have to circle the block a couple times but thats where ive gotten every bagger ive owned was from the golf club parking lot when its on simeons list.

The Bagger is on the list now but no luck finding it yet. Checked the golf course dozens of times in different sessions. I hope I find it before the list change again.

Simeon's "list" does nothing to determine what cars will spawn. Cars are loosely confined to general areas. You will get your nicer cars with a random super/sport thrown in around 'rodeo drive' and in the hills with nicer homes. In the ghetto of ol' CJs hood will never spawn the nicer rides.

Simeon's specific request grants you access to 1 random car from the full range of vehicles on his "lists". Here is where you can find the Tailgater as the pop-up green vehicle icon.

Simeon's "list" changes every 48 minutes of lobby time, should you choose not deliver one from the currently available list. If you get lucky you can sometimes get a car to sell at LSC (gang car) then deliver the best paying vehicle on Simeon's "list" (F620) and then get another F620 (the rarest request) from Simeons specific request and make a quick and easy 30k+.

I drove back and forth from the centre to the golf course but I didn't find a Bagger. Too bad. I'll just keep an eye out for it on Simeon's list every time I play. I'm not sure if it helps though as there seem to be conflicting accounts of whether this works or not. I'll probably find one eventually.

It will pop up when you least expect it. Run a few missions on another bike and see if that helps your chances.

Do one of the missions with the Lost involved and finish with their daemon, when it spawns afterwards make sure you cruise around the gang area and a bagger or two should spawn.

Yeah I've been using my bike a lot in the hopes that it will spawn other bikes. But again, there are conflicting accounts of whether or not the vehicle you drive/ride actually makes a difference. Unfortunately my Daemon is on my other character so I can't use that, I've been using a Double T. So far I haven't really noticed more bikes spawning.

treu, the only rule i woud rely on is using solo sessions for a car to spawn

Keep your eyes peeled for them parked on the side of the road, too. The highway on the east side of the map that goes all the way up to Paleto is a good place to check, as well.

Thanks, will be looking there next time I try. Any other areas where they tend to spawn? So far on the internet I've found people saying the central LSC parking lot, the golf course parking lot (turns out there's also a little parking lot around the back of the building, didn't check there last time), the parking lot by the pier, the parking lot by the tennis court at the beach, around the Fleeca bank on the western highway, around Franklin's house, and your tip about the eastern highway. There's so many different places where people have found it, I'm starting to think the Bagger's spawning isn't affected by location at all.
