I gotta watch it again some time. Seems like an obscure movie to re-boot if you ask me, but The Rock doesn't really seem like a bad choice to me if the movie's gonna be as cheesy as the original. I do like the Rock and think he can do comedy well (he did a pretty awesome job on Saturday Night Live), but I just can't see anyone capturing the essence of Jack Burton in the way that Russell did, and needless to say that character is a huge part of what makes that film so good.
