Did R* nerf "assassination investor" tactics? How valid are gu

GRRR!!!!

So I just finished the main story and got started on Lester's assassination missions. Only did the first one (multi-target), and the payback is supposed to be:

80% from Debonaire

300% from Redwood after it recovers.

Well, for me DEB peaked at 57% at most (after half an hour of save scumming) and then crashed back down to negatives.

Redwood crashed hard and seemed to recover a bit, but definitely not 300% (I advanced the time by about 5 days).

Did Cock* nerf the stock market fluctuations after assassination missions? If so, are there any updated guides?

Yeah 60% on DEB for me a couple times and RWC did get to 290-300%

5 days sounds too long. It's only a couple of days after debonaire tops out. 6-8 sleeps using Frank if I remember right.

I've tried this trick for the assassination contracts, and I remember that don't match perfectly with the PC version for several contracts.

In fact, we can use these tricks but we have to keep an eye on the stockmarket... Even if you use the "sleep way" (to save and wake up 6 hours later), you can sleep, wake up, look at on the stock market, and sell/buy following the trend of the curve or attempt to sleep again to see 6 hours later if the share have a "good curve"... .

In this case, it's ok, even if the value come down, we don't "lose" (in fact we always win) a lot of profit but many times, I had much more profit (instead to follow precisely these tricks), because with these contracts, the shares can to drop (big drop) or increase incredibly after an assassination (during the 6 first hours), but after the delay (from these tricks) the share don't increase quickly or in the second case, the share doesn't move down quickly.

Example (fictional numbers):
Share of the X company= 2$ before the assassination,
Share of the X company= 150$ after the assassination (after 1 day = 24hours or less, the trick ask to sell it "now"),
Share of the X company= 153$ after the assassination (after 48 hours = 2days),

Share of the X company= 155$ after the assassination (after 96hours = 4 days),
Share of the X company= 151$ after the assassination (after 114 hours = 4 days and 18 hours),

Share of the X company= 148$ after the assassination (after 120 hours = 5 days), or sometime we can have a jump like 156$ just in this moment after the opening/morning,

Share of the X company= 130$ after the assassination (after 144 hours = 6 days)....

Personally, I continued to play normally, but i take the time to read the infos and the stock market variation every 6-12 hours (this take 1 min to check, it's not a big deal then!).
Globally, the tricks ask to me to sell my share too early. There is only one (maybe two) contracts where we need to sell our shares very quickly after the assassination to max the profits, but in the most of cases, we can take the time (4-5 days) except on one or two assassinations where we need to sell after 24 hours.

For Debonaire and Redwood, I remember the website say me to wait until 18hours (for Debonaire) and 48-96hours (for Redwood) to sell my shares.
But in this case, i had to wait 24-30 hours to see the Debonaire share at max, and for Redwood I'm not sure (don't remember precisely) but what I know, the 48-96hours isn't nice to maximize the profit, I think i had to wait much more than 96 hours. In fact, I've done this contract the Monday, and i sold my Redwood shares the next Monday or Tuesday.
There is another contract where i had to wait much more time than the advice on the website. Advice: wait during 24h, while I had to wait 4-5-6 days to max the profits.

With the 3 characters, I win +900 millions for each (2.7 billion), but it depend of your behavior during the game. I was very "wasteful" in the game (specially with Michael and Franklin).
Everything depends of the initial bet obviously (my characters had approximately 50 000 (Michael), 200 000 (Franklin) and 90 000 (for Trevor), and they won 35.6 millions each with the "Big One" => average gains by character: 2450%. If I had followed these tricks, with these same initial bets
I would have won between 1.4 and 1.9 billion "only"). With Michael for example, he had more of 2 millions before, but I bought some commercial buildings and cars before the "big one", I could have to make much more then (1.3 billion at least just with him). But i'm ok, Michael can earn a lot of money by week with his cinema investments, I'm very "wasteful" with Michael and I have 700 millions with Michael and all cinemas.
Michael and Franklin (can) have (if we make the missions) good regular money entries in my game, but it's not the case for Trevor (Then I was focused on Trevor to maximize my profits on the stock market).

I'm looking my stats, I spend over 211 millions with Michael (with $10 millions before the "big one"), 5 millions with Franklin (with $3 millions approx. before the "big one") and "just" 1.6 millions with Trevor (with 8-900 000$ approx. before the "big one"). If I was more thrifty during my game (before the "Big One"), then my characters would be much more rich.
