Nah, racing is not dead. It is still alive. It depends on what lobbies you go to. I race every few days and some times I lose but it is worth experience.

There are some issues. When an invite pops up saying "Land Race: NO TRANSLATION / NO TRANSLATION" you know to avoid it because it's basically a 250m drag race along a bridge and the host is a raging muppet.

 

If you enter via the quick job menu, and end up in these, it's a call between smoking them with your custom or, since they love super with customs turned off, a Voltic for the acceleration.

 

LOLZ JUMPS and drag races are just awful, and if I get sucked into one I make sure I finish it so I can downvote it as hard as possible.

 

My worst experience though had to be when I joined from quick job to a rally race that my copilot didn't have a headset for.

no its not. It's just a race that was made in a different language and has no English translation. One I play is not a 250m drag race.
