Siege Mentality

I have recently been playing Adversary Modes. Siege Mentality and Hasta la Vista in particular. Anyway, I quick join an Adversary Mode and it turns out to be Siege Mentality I. I was the Hold Out by default and the other three players were the attackers. I managed to hold them off for the time limit... Now, this is what pissed them off. After winning that round, I was once again the Hold Out for the second round. They all got pissed off and left. Then I got message saying that it was unfair and that I'm a hacker... cool. 3 against 1 is unfair? They were all above rank 100 and I mean come on, I wasn't even using automatic weapons so they had a chance. I was using the .50 Cal. So, I want to point out a few things about Siege Mentality as I have seen players complaining that they never got a go at being the Hold Out.

 

- If the Hold Out player managed to survive the time limit, he/she will be the hold out player for the second round.

 

- The attacker player that manages to kill the Hold Out player will become the Hold Out player for the next round.

 

- If there are two hold out players and one gets killed but the other survives, the hold out player that was killed gets replaced in the next round by the attacker that killed him/her and the other hold out player remains as a hold out.

All of those modes are supposed to be that way...like the guy above, I'm curious as to the intent of this post. Bragging? You had the weapon advantage over your attackers who have forced weapons....hell one match is a sniper wet dream in chumash.

all the new modes are terrible. the first one I played I was at a pier with my friend, 20 sniper kills, then everyone left.

Personally I don't care for DM Modes in GTA, especially not Adversary. Hasta La Vista could be fun maybe, but Siege Mentality is just boring and is like easy kills for Hold Out. Shotguns vs Snipers and what not is just stupid.. :/ I wish they would make it so Martin Madrozo isn't inviting you to Adversary so much, especially with the notification everytime.. I guess they want you to play all 5 variants before the notification will stop..

You only get those invites, if you never played the job before. Play all variants once and you never get them again...

 

Another genius idea of R* to get you to play their new awesome jobs: Troll them enough with invites and eventually people will play them!

No, I'm not bragging. I'm pointing out that some people don't like the way Adversary Modes are put together.
