Seems like the update isnt coming to sp

Unlike the Heist Update vehicles, the new update vehicles are not armoured and weaponized, so they don't affect SP storyline. It's just a selection of more cars which just act like any other car. Not like the armoured Kuruma or the Insurgent, which make the game a bit easy. So, maybe the devs can add the cars to SP, but maybe not. Let's just wait and see what happens. :)

Oringinally poster just casually publishes something here and so many people act very disrespectful, in a very arrogant way.

When you're already claiming to possess inborn science, showing a little respect for others would be a great start. Please find another valve to evacuate your teenage hormons than this forum, we don't want to deal with the repercussions of your issues.

I know the thread is not one of the most valuable ones, but that is not a darn reason.

Why has every thread to be locked before some people simply think twice about what they publish, and why is no moderator taking care of these overly aggressive members ?

I'm out,

Cheers.

Rockstar will release a SP DLC when THEY'RE good and ready to release it and not a moment sooner.

I've got no problems with that. They can release it when they want. But announcing it in 2014, "Substantial GTA V content coming soon" and then not giving any info on it for more than one year makes R* look pathetic. No communication with the SP fans, putting out only Online related info on

the Newswire. Ridiculous indeed.

Offering GTA O money for those who complain about SP bugs. R* has gone to the dogs clearly.

Dear R*, not all GTA fans have moved on to Online. We're waiting for some info. And we're also hoping that the next GTA's SP campaign is better. Are we wrong in expecting that, R*? Should we all move on to Online?

If that's what you want, then f*ck you R*.

Hey, i still play SP basically daily. Do i wish they had released SP DLC by now? Sure. Do i understand that they haven't because as i said before the Online is a buggy, glitch-y mess that unfortunately takes priority, and of course they can still make SC profits? You bet ya.

Man these forums are full of overly entitled babies, all i gotta say is....

Dangerous and sad

Yes this update will come to sp. I can see why the heist vehicles didn't come onto sp in fairness. Looking forward to that badass engraved titns and combat pdw.

Some of the the nonsense in this thread makes me tempted to go troll the GTAO forum like the online crowd does to this one.

Only tempted tho

Another update? Hell, didn't even update since Patch 1.11 on PS3. Still own PS3 Version, too. Goes to show how much I could give a f*ck about V :D

Online already ruined this Series. It's etched in stone now for me.

This shouldn't even be an issue. Can anyone actually explain how it would be a bad thing if this stuff was in SP?

Is seems everyone here plays on console, where you cant mod the game or use trainers. For all of you complaining about ONLINE DLC not coming to Single Player, just play it on PC and use a trainer. You can spawn every single vehicle in an instant. Even the heist vehicles.

Save Editor / PS3. It's pretty extensive what you can do on it. It's only for PS3/X360/PC, though. You can do all of this since September 2013 on PS3/X360...

Not understanding the Online hate. Besides not having the protag's powers, or use of the stock market, what are you losing? You can play "solo session" so no one f*cks with your sh*t, or you can play in "passive mode" so no one f*cks with your sh*t. Don't you have to have an internet connetion to play SP anyway?

In reality, V and Online are the same game, with different sets of parameters. It being a 'separate entity' is just for R*'s own amusement (or record-keeping maybe). The fact is, you can switch from one to the other in the same program. They use the same assets, same everything.

But, in the end, it's a video game, any everyone enjoys video games differently. Just because I like racing cars, and you like shooting people, doesn't mean we have to hate each other. We're all on the same team here, guys. Sheesh.

True, but a trainer is so much simpler and seamless. When I had a PS3, I used a save editor. It required copy and pasting game saves to a USB, opening the editor, editing obscure lines of code, and resaving it onto the save. You would have to this everytime you wanted to change something.

PC is best for single player GTA V for almost every reason.

Never used Mods or Cheats in my playthroughs, anyways. But I realize that PC is the best Version to have for Mods, but I am not interested in this stuff. Plus my PS3 is king. It's backward compatible and I can play my III, VC, SA, LCS, and VCS PS2 Discs on the PS3, as well as my IV, TLaD/TBoGT (EfLC), and V Discs on it, too. 9 GTA's all on one Console. Win! :)

But I also have III, VC, SA, and CTW for Mobile (iOS).

Not yet. Soon though. I give it to next console cycle. The one after that at the latest.

EDIT: Of course, it is dependent on the Internet level the major markets have (US, UK, etc.).

Your standalone GTAV however? A single player game, start to finish. buncha DLC thats already come out for it. no story dlc as promised, sure, but thats another argument. The sheer fact is if you expect a SINGLE PLAYER GAME released 2 years ago to cop the same kind of content an MMO does, then you're the reason these forums have gone to sh*t and littered with nothing but entitled bitching.

The increasing number of f*ckin' sell-outs like you, who are drooling over such garbage sh*t called ONLINE are the reason for a LOT of things that is becoming a common trend and setting a wrong example for the series'. People like you don't even realize what truly makes the game a masterpiece beyond graphics whoring, and accept every sh*t wrapped in a nice coat of shiny package as the GOTY ... f*cking joke!

Go to the ONLINE section and spew your bullsh*t over there...

Lol

Not understanding the Online hate. Besides not having the protag's powers, or use of the stock market, what are you losing?

Online loses a lot of small stuff that makes the game immersive, like that fact that animals don't exist at all, no random events, characters are completely mute (which is odd considering MP characters in IV had voice acting), various map props missing due to limitations, missing vehicles like the jumbo jets, etc. That's part of the reason why I don't play it really.

Fair points, all true. I do miss being able to heckle pedestrians... you can always flip em off though. Didn't even notice the animals were missing, actually.

That said, I was only halfway surprised that they were selling Online cash for real money. Everyone does micro-transactions these days, but at least R* doesn't make them mandatory to enjoy the game.

This game would be dead without a "next gen" version

however previous gtas dont need a remastered version

i still play Vc,sa ( nonlinear gameplay )

The linear mission design in V shows how poor V Sp is

One of the biggest issues for me and online.. They really took short cuts with our characters. I have no attachment to my online character at all.. Its nothing but a doll to dress up in clothes i wouldnt actually wear o,o

The fact of the matter is there are two games here. One's called GTA Online and one's called GTAV. You look like idiots demanding DLC from a different game lol.

Its almost like you've got a copy of Skyrim and a copy of Elder Scrolls Online and you're demanding the DLC from Online go to Skyrim.

I came here to point out the difference between SP and Online - and that you all look so stupid demanding things when you aren't owed anything. Good to see how riled up you all get when presented with logical debate though

Read - Offline game need to connected internet

So, just because we have to have an internet connetion to play SP anyway, ONLINE should be fine and completely Ok for us???

Developers/Publishers want their games to have them some form of DRM and you are using that as an excuse to justify playing ONLINE. I mean, seriously!

All my fav. series have gone downhill because there is no shortage of idiots who are unwilling to go against such bullsh*t practices and instead going to tell us to agree with all that bullsh*t.

Why people don't understand that ONLINE is a different thing for us since we're used to the amazing single player GTA gaming since the very inception of the series.

SP keeps the experience a LOT player friendly and allow for player agency in the gameplay.

The kind of experience that doesn't require it any internet access nor waiting for the sessions to load up or finding a random douchebag to play some of the things locked for multiple players. ONLINE just makes the GTA gaming defined and bounded by the rules wholly owned and operated by the developers. Its a LOT less player driven unlike the single player gaming experience that offers a thoughtful and so much more "personal" than ever before.

As said above, change isnn't always good, and the biggest reason why increasing count of people like you time and again prove that "technology will take over the human race", if you f*ckin' fail to even differentiate between what's worth supporting for the better future and not getting addicted enough to play something that doesn't respect your privacy, at all, nor giving you enough freedom to play the way you desire without any rules.

Glad to see the R* Defender Unit serving and protecting this forum from unhappy GTA players. Such horrible garbage should be banned away forever. The nerve of some single players trying out Online and not liking it and feeling neglected. Damn you all! Damn you all straight to hell!

Not understanding the Online hate.

The big problem with online is that it gives Rockstar a reason to limit the single player game. After you finish the story, if you want to do GTA-type activities, you have to play online which means...

- You have to pay more money every month.

- You have to grind like hell to level up to get the vehicles and weapons you want.

- You either play solo in a dull environment or surrounded by assholes who just want to make you miserable.

- You need other people to play most of the missions. If you can't find anyone to play the missions you want, then you're screwed and you're not playing.

- Connection issues and loading screens.

Thank you. You summed it up logically and unemotionally. My big prob is the loading and grinding 8 hrs for a Uzi.

Just because it says Online doesn't mean we won't be getting the cars. I could understand us not getting the heist vehicles and I'm over that as Save Editor fixed that. But this is a regular update, just like the High Life Update and the I'm Not a Hipster Update. Those were Online focused yet we still got the cars. And again, if we for some reason don't, Save Editor is your friend. :)

Cheers!

I don't do save editors.

And I prefer it having the weapons and vehicles added to SP so I can play with them whenever I want. And can test the new vehicles out to see if it's worth buying Online.

I'm getting the Osiris regardless once the update's done.
