As much as I sometimes despise supers for little 12 year olds ruining them for me, that is probably still the one I want most and most excited for. Probably going to turn into the new Zentorno unless the Osiris has horrible performance.

 

Also I hope the 'solid gold' luxor and swift actually have properties of real gold, therefore bulletproof and sort of rocket proof. I doubt this, but i can still be hopeful

Depends on its thickness, but when its really thick and heavy i'd imagine it was relatively bullet proof

 

and totally unflyable. That poor Luxor would go into the ground like a dart. That is if it actually got of the ground in the first place lol

No really I don't know. The gullwing Benefactor may be a good replacement for my Stinger, but it all depends on how the cars actually behave and their sound. I'll check them out on a racetrack. If I don't like the sound or if it handles like an ass, no design will make up for it.

But even though this announcement only came out today, I'm getting more and more baffled by their decision.

 

If they wanted a more accurate '67 Cadillac Eldorado so badly, why not remodel the existing Manana (which is already based on a '67 Eldorado just as much as this new Virgo is) and just call it a Manana?

 

I'd rather they brought back the GTA IV Virgo. (which has, until now, always been a Lincoln Continental Mark VI... from its debut in Vice City all the way up to and including GTA IV)

 

Do they not understand that people like past GTA cars for what they LOOK LIKE and not just their name? Recycling old names means nothing if they're attached to cars that look nothing like what they used to.

 

It's fine when it's a natural progression (like basing the car on a different generation or successor of the previous one's real life equivalent) but this makes no sense.

Same here, the virgo was the only car that caught my attention. Im actually happy the virgo is a caddy instead, was hopping someday R* would add a 60-70s cadillac.

Definitely Osiris. I have space for the others but I refuse to buy them if I can't test them out in SP to see if they're good. Not playing Capture/DM player created matches just to do that.

 

 

I'll be buying the Swift and Luxor Deluxe as I don't own the regular versions and the Swift will be used in missions that people like to start in Paleto Bay. f*ck them, I'll grab my Swift and let whoever doesn't want to drive for years to get in(assuming they don't try yanking me out)

Please don't be a sheep! I refuse to waste money on the Luxor and Swift! I own them already and having them in gold means NOTHING, especially since the gold in this game sucks!

Now don't get me wrong, I like the Wraith better but they should have found a new name for it.

 

It's like they don't even realize how popular some of their car designs are and how loyal lots of the fans are to certain models, whether it be because of relevance to their own real car or just nostalgia or whatever. The Jester is a good example, this new NSX thing is pretty neat and all but it's not a Jester and by calling it the Jester they pretty much dash any hopes of an actual Jester ever appearing.

 

Really wish they could get a vehicle team together that really understood car enthusiasts and the history of the series and could put it all together properly. As it is now about the only thing they get right are the actual designs themselves, but the sounds, performance, customization options, names, manufacturer continuity, and classifications are all over the board, with some of them being right on and others so far off the mark that they should be embarrassed.

I kinda want a gold Swift, now that I think about it. I don't own a Swift yet, so might as well go big.

 

Depending on how much it costs anyway. The standard Swift is already very pricey.

I'm just wondering if Story Mode will get any of this content.

I know what you mean, and as a general rule I like GM more than Ford, but it seems like a missed opportunity.

 

Why not come up with a *gasp* new name and leave Virgo for a Lincoln... and why not base it on say a '75 or so Eldorado like the 3d era one we haven't seen in years? As opposed to another variation of a '67 that already exists in the game we're currently playing!
