Animation dict and names complete list?

So I've got two sources, each containing a list of animation dictionaries and animation names.

 

One of these lists has over 13k of items and looks fairly comprehensive, but I noticed it was missing a fair few dictionaries and animation names that the other source has - the gta worktools anim list with 11k animations.

 

The worktools list has multiplayer gestures and celebrations which are missing in the other larger list.

 

Does anyone have a single source for ALL GTA V anim dictionaries and animation names (SP and MP) in one document?

 

Or know of any realistic automated way to compare one list against another for word matches e.g if there are words in a line from document A, search another block of text / document for any word matches.

 

If no word matches are found, log that whole line somewhere, then check next line?

 

It would be very difficult to manually find which dicts and anims are missing from one and present in the other, or if they are present in both lists.

I actually thought about this subject earlier. We need some kind of website that formats the animations into a tree-view like layout.

 

Take for example the following animations:

Tranmet, is it your trainer that has selectable movement styles for player (how they walk and run) e.g Lester, hipster, etc? Are these from animation dict/names?

 

If so, could you possible post a couple of those dict/names in here if you don't mind? Wanted to see what their names are so i can search them out.

I didn't have time to get rid of duplicates yet, maybe you could sort those out and possibly republish the list so that modmakers can use it ?

Was this the one you pm's me and Guard (Actor Manager mod)?

 

The one you pm's seemed really comprehensive, but it was also missing a fair few of the gta workspace tools ones I think.

 

Think Guard merged them into one, but there are obviously duplicates that way.

This is the list you got via PM + all the anims on the website (the gta worktools anim list ) combined.

 

So there will be duplicates. maybe someone could sort those out and have a real comprehensive list.

You want a total list whitout ducplicates ?

Oh I just realized ! I was trying to get rid of duplicates using Excel's function but I now see that the 11K array and the 13K array has reversed animdicts and animnames !

 

So that's probably why it didn't work :D

I think Guard merged those two together aswell for AM, following a format (index number) (Dict Name) (Anim Name). Still has the duplicates i think.

 

Not to go on about the index number thing again, but it is working quite well in Actor Manager. Makes it a whole lot simpler to navigate to an anim and play it, without typing in the dict name or anim name.

 

Not tried your simple trainer update, so not sure how you navigate anims but i'll have a look later.

 

Are scenarios based from these anim dict and names too? I'm wondering how associated props are spawned to go with an animation?

Hmm, now we have 12K animations out of 13K and 11K, something tells me that ain't good.

 

Ok, as "my List" and the list from the site have swapped animdict and animname, I initially got the same number of records in Excel, now I have swapped one list to be in the exact same order and now I get a total of 21881 animations which sounds about right considering it was a list of a little over 25K animations.

 

Maybe someone might want to double check what I've done, but at first sight it seems correct.

I shoed a system tree if I have time. But anyway you can make a small regex to aue it more beautiful.

Yes they are. I got "my list" from someone on scripthook chat (can't remember who so can't credit unfortunately). I processed those using powershell and copied it straight into VS.

 

the powershell happened to be in animname, animdict order and didn't bother to change it.

I don't do regex but use notepad, it's quick and easy to replace text.

Oh and I put this list in trainer and they seem to be working fine (allthough I obviously didn't check all of them).

Just to clarify now.

 

Which is the fully complete anim list. combining both your 13k list (sjaak327 chat obtained) and the gta v workspace 11k list (Transmet), which has been processed to remove duplicates and is ordered anim dict - anim name?

 

The gta v workspace tools list has now changed online. I don't know if this is a merged list. Starts with abigail_mcs_1_concat-0 -> exportcamera-0, not the [email protected]

Eh, the one I linked in post #15 has 21881 animations which is the complete list out of those two with duplicates removed.
