Question about Transferring

I am fully aware that you can transfer your character ONCE either from PS3 to PS4 or X1, X360 to PS4.

 

My friend transferred the other night and it said he was banned either while transferring or after.

 

If he goes back and makes another character on PS3, will he be able to transfer this character over as well? Or can you only transfer both characters or one when prompted to transfer?

He'll need to create a brand new character on a brand new social club account and start all over again.

Thanks for the reply. Should he unlink his PSN from his current social club account and then make a new one and link his PSN in order to transfer the second character? Assuming after he's banned though

That's sounds like it should work, yes.

No because it's the account that is most likely banned so any character he transfers will most likely be banned as well...

 

It's better to be safe than sorry and make a new social club account then risk a brand new tranfer being banned.

Oh, I thought when they said "make a new one" they were referring to a new SC account, my bad.

To clarify any misunderstandings, I meant that he should make a new SC account after being banned and make a new character after that.

 

EDIT: his PSN is also on my PS3, and both my accounts are banned as well. A modder dropped some money on him while he was not on the game. None of that money was banked either, so he bought 3 apartments (he's a low level btw) when he came back on.

 

I will admit that I did bank the money a modder dropped on me a while back on both my accounts, which I assume is why I was banned. Either that, or him being a low level spending all that money that was dropped on him. I was doing a mission and upon arriving in free mode, it started glitching and said I was banned.

 

When we both get unbanned and run into another modder and don't bank it and transfer to the PS4, will we be banned again?

No you guys were banned for something else R* will not ban people for picking up money they will just remove it.

 

Your console is banned so the likelyhood of being able to make a new character on a brand new PSN account won't work either.

 

If this is your first ban you'll be unbanned within 2 weeks so just wait it out then tranfer after that and there are no modders on PS4 so you don't have to worry about that..

Yes, this is our first ban. When I'm unbanned, if I received a large amount of modded money again and transfer to the PS4 (I am getting one soon), will i get banned again?

 

I'm aware of some people within the past few months being able to transfer their modded money from last gen and still not getting banned.
