Sorry for the really dumb question here but Im just trying to figure out when this update will be out my time here in NZ. So normally the update comes out at like 10-11pm Tuesdays evening here. So normally an update comes out in the early hours of tuesday morning PST correct? So I should expect the update my Wednesday evening ie in a little over 24hours?

Updates release at 3am PST. This update is coming out on Wednesday.

I dunno about you guys but if all the content is going to be artificial items (cars, clothing and a gun, the typical rockstar update) then I'm not going to be excited. You'll just be doing the same old missions heists with a different car that goes the same speed as every other car in the game since its nerfed for online.

I will check it out but hopes are low. This game needs things to do in this big giant world to keep it fresh. 2 years of the same old stuff has gotten stale.

well you can join a public lobby with the special crate and only hope it says that everybody left at once

Used to be 4 in the lobby, think it's 8 now, for a crate event.

 

But they're not hard to get. Go to Sandy Shores, set spawn to Last Location, session hop until you see a Crate notification. Call your aircraft of choice and collect. These modern crates are a piece of piss, compared to the first few times. They drop more often than [censored].

 

I wish number of Special Crates captured was a stat, I'd be like King Crate.

Just use a lag switch. XLag, UDP Uunicorn and NetTools5 are all good.The latter two being good for faster connections though.
