Swedish Soldier
I know mod releases for GTA1 are rare these days so it feels extra fun to be able to put out something for this 17 year old game. I'm sure I'm not the only one still playing it. This is a reworked version of a map for GTA1 that I made back in 2002-2003 as my first attempt to make a complete level for GTA1 with missions, kill frenzies etc. I released the map, though only on swedish communities. In this new version I have gone through the map, the mission code and the FXT-file and made a lot of bug fixes, changes in text-messages, added new stuff and other improvements. I have spent A LOT of hours to get everything to work as it's supposed to. If you happen to come across any bugs (except for the train turning issue) please let me know. Have fun! Included in the zip is a guide to get 3DFX to work. Features: -Cops -Firetrucks and ambulances -6 missions -4 kill frenzies -Area names -Traffic lights -Boats (make sure you have land on your left when you exit them!) -Helicopters (the parked ones can't fly, but you'll get the chance to ride one in the end) -A clothing store (go find it yourself!) -Train line -Army base (how you enter it is a secret) -Cranes -Bomb shop and respray shop -Insane stunt jump >>>Download<<< (updated to version 1.2) Edited July 26, 2015 by Swedish Soldier Tadzik, FidoX, ClaudeSpeed1911 and 16 others
quechus13
If you made this for GTA IV and V it would be sweet.

Inadequate
Amazing work. No all days you can see a map mod for GTA 1 and still in 2015.
Voxels
Looks great! It would be also cool if the map is converted to GTA III.
Ss4gogeta0
well at the moment I need the texture bmp he used for the maps because the .sty files I have for the GTA 1 maps (Miami, NY, and SanB) dont seem to work... but other than that the map itself converts pretty well Edited June 1, 2015 by Ss4gogeta0

As it comes to the stylefile the one i used is included in the zip (though the only difference from the original is that the boat has been edited). PhillBellic
I haven't seen an uploaded mod for GTA for quite some time. I like the general map layout.

Jeansowaty
Beautiful job man. I'm doing a small map for GTA2 myself but I'm not working quite commonly on it... I reached the borders Jinx.

The textures for GTA1 maps are also in the style file and can be extracted using GTA Cars (by selecting "load tiles"). Afaik you must export each texture individually which is a hell of a job. NTAuthority
Ah, all those of you talking about 3D conversions of this, shouldn't you be more interested in my GBH:Legacy concept (V loading cityscape/GBH map files, a CTW-style camera controller, vehicles that can't flip and the original map scripts running in MP)? Anyway, nice to see some proper mission work for GTA - also nice to sees it work on the DOS version... the Windows rereleases are a mess and I like 3Dfx... Swedish Soldier
Version 1.2 is out now. The link in the first post has been updated. I ran the map in non-3DFX mode recently and got this funny surprise seen on the pictures below. This bug does not appear in 3DFX which was the reason I hadn't noticed it. I think it was caused by Junction 25 Beta when I rotated the pillars after placing them on the map. I fixed the error by removing the pillars and adding them again without any rotation.
