mlgthatsme
Looks pretty damn nice. You mentioned in the description that you have also written the library "to create menus that look like Rockstar themselves made it". Does that mean that we are now able to build menus using original instruments or your library still only tries to visually mimic them? That little thing keeps bothering me. Currently it only mimics the official menu. But it's good enough right now Hey mlg, any news about making the garages purchasables? It's going to happen. I'm not sure when, but it will happen. The only problem is migrating. Say if a player already has cars in a garage, should they just get that garage for free? Those things I still have to work out. gunziness and El Dildo
gunziness
They would get the garages (floors) they already occupied for free I believe. If they dont want them for free they could just back up the vehicles info file, install the new mod, and after buying their garages put the cars back in. I see that it has "Manage Garage Camera View" so maybe you add "Manage Car Rotation" with 3 options, 45* = \\\\ 90* = |||| 135* = //// (|||| - car rotation) ? Remove a vehicle from there and you'll be able to purchase cars online again. While you're at it, I would just remove all the vehicles from the default garage and not even bother with them anymore; they lack so many features that you get with the modded garages. That being said, it definitely would be pretty cool if mlgthatsme could somehow make it so that vehicles purchased online would go to the mod garage instead (not sure how easy it would be to do that though, if possible at all). Craigsters
Any chance of changing the garage icons on the map to suit each protagonists color? Franklin is green Michael is Blue Trevor is Orange so each garage icon would have there personal color and one garage for each protagonists??? thanks Edited June 20, 2015 by Craigsters "You don't understand! mlgthatsme
Just working on adding purchasing Garages right now, as I've added like 7 more Garages. So I think now is the time to make them purchasable. But, for those who can't wait, here's the current Change log for 0.4 Version 0.4- Stats work - Liveries now save.- Fixed not being able to set vehicle mods to stock.- Increased size of Vehicle Stats floater.- Garage Blips are now short ranged. (Won't clutter the map)- Added support for "ILL-GOTTEN GAINS PART 1" DLC Vehicles- Added Experimental Garage Layout Editor (Be careful with this, it's not fully complete)- Added support for 2 Car and 6 Car Garage Interiors- Added "Return all Vehicles" to mechanic menu- Added Several Garages scattered over the city (7 New Ones)- You now have to press the Action Button to enter and leave Garages.- Active vehicles can now be delivered if you're far away enough from them.- You can no longer enter your Garage while wanted. (Unless your Wanted stars are flashing)- Delivered Vehicles now align to the road properly. That means A LOT <3 Though what I'm going to say is not criticism, so don't take it badly, but I think there's still important stuff missing. Consider it a reminder on what needs to be done. Once again, I love your work <3 But the camera issue I've mentioned few pages ago is not in your changelog and I think it seriously needs fixing, because you can't preview your mods correctly and nicely. (you should have the possibility too free roam your camera around the car, while also keeping the camera zooming on respective car parts). As well as colours shouldn't be only RGB, but also different kinds of paint. I mean chrome, matte, metallic, etc. I think those are missing. They should be categorized too. Same with wheel colours. It would be easier to manage if they were categorized. And minor idea: Add sound effects for modifying your car to enhance the experience. I don't know why, but without these little sound effects, it's not the same for some reason. I mean the engine sound when upgrading engine and I'm not sure if even exists, but the sound of changing wheels/tires would be great as well. But that's just my opinion, minor one at that. Also, not only should apartment be bought, but as I said - you should be able to mod only the parts that you've bought at Los Santos Customs or you should simply have to buy mods from your garage. Yeah, I know I'm a whiny bitch, but I just want to provide ideas to make the mod better, since I don't have the skills to help out myself, but I really love your work. You're great for the community. Gforce
Been using the original release and I have to say it works amazingly well and really enjoying using it. I quite like the custom RGB colour options for the paint, any chance you can use the metallics and pearls with a later version ? it's no real biggie as I use this alongside Simple Trainer, I use trainer to get the car colours and pearls, then I use this for customising the primary and secondary RGB's, keeping the customised RGB option would also be a nice touch. thanks for all your hard work El Dildo
