gunziness Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 I finally found out what was causing a glitch that its been happening to me for a while now: Â When you select the option modify a vehicle and the vehicle menu shows up, if you chose and empty slot, the camera will get stuck and the mod will stop responding. Â What exactly I did for this to happen is: Â - Came to the Garage with Frankiln's Buffalo S. Â - Selected the option to "mod vehicle" and picked the Buffalo. fly2012cl Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 (edited) Thanks for your hard work to Updaten!!!  I have some personal suggestion about small details. 1.Maybe you can make it possible to send a car back to the Garage with "F5" menu, now the only way I know was "Put a bomb on it" And we can also remove a car when we are not in the garage.  2.SPG.ini may be more usefull als you already make it possible to set "F5" to be others keys. your can put more setting into it. like "up" "down" in the menu, thanks you didn't pu it in numpad. Order more choice like "if blip of garages always on the minimap" "use all of the three garage or not" It look not so good if you always put all blips to the minimap(on the map is necessary). it hard to make all the people happy, then let them to choose.  3.It will be usefull if I can from Floor_1 to another Floor without get out of the garage.the lift can be a second choice of Floors  4. A little problem about the display of the name of cars in chinese.   Thanks for reading!!! I installed NET.Framework 4.5 and when I try to load game crashes... Â I download 0.3 beta and it still crashes. Â I use Steam game... I don't see how this would happen at all I think we are getting our wires crossed. Vehicles would be "saved" where they have been put/parked within the purchased properties "zone". vehicles would be spaced out depending on where you placed them and remain in place of where you placed them along and retrained into a set area, vehicles would be freely placed, and completely and utterly easily be accessible to drive off, fly off, or anything. I don't understand what you think I'm suggesting...i've put hours of research into this and scouted the entire map many times for viable places, here, look at some screenshots, this is what I mean after playing around with location and persistance code, it works so well:    As you can see, plenty of access, plenty of space, not spawned on top of each other or anything    Same here, huge space, room for cargo bobs, even a skylift in the middle there, dumps, savages and tons more vehicles, this would be an expensive property/parking area and one of the largest    And finally the location next to your suggested location, big, wide, room for the largest vehicles, helicopters and even a hyda, easily accessible, no clipping, no collisions  Each of my 3 examples show perfectly viable, spaced out and none obtrusive areas. With my testing, I've been able to get vehicles in and out of the parked areas with ease, and they don't look out of place parked there at all, to me, they blend in nicely and look awesome.  Your original idea, coming back to that, well in that case...you could use ANY sized garage to store ANY size vehicle, providing you have enough space to spawn it outdoors...so thus, your idea is fine in theory but is not what I am suggesting as it could be applied to a statue in a field or a wind turbine in the desert.  As my original idea dictates, I am talking about purchasable properties/businesses, parking garages, space and all sorts. To buy out these areas for military and industrial storage as sort of a "end game investment" ideas, for which MLG has shown his support for.  The idea is to make it immersive and dynamic, finding areas to purchase, store and place vehicles dynamically in the world like you would in real life if you bought a plot of private land or parking space (like in London UK and in Other cities, even California in real life), have them delivered to you, airlifting to you, or otherwise/normally, should scripting allow it. My idea is for a much more involved way of vehicle storage, using the environment and using businesses and properties to invest in with the millions we end up with at the end of the story (or before) and thus, avoiding areas with spawns or clutter or other collision issues (trust me there are dozens of areas, but so many not suitable). So yeah, something bigger and better and more pretty to spend out money on, is the premise  I understand your idea, and that could work totally fine if you could add the garages being purchasable. However mine is more of a long term goal that could be amazing if implimented on the big scale .  @Mlg will have to delay my compilation thread, however, as a sneak peak check THIS area out for storage! The largest, most expensive and most awesome area yet to store literally anything, even boats:     An ENTIRE DOCK ! See the Skylift in the far left? Yeah...looks tiny eh, that's because this area is huge. You can fit like 20 dumps (why would you want to though lol), 6+ Skylifts, about 30 boats around the side, 60 cars, 100 bikes or so, about 11 cargo bobs and well you name it, this location near elysian island right down south is literally the best and biggest city area to store, well, anything with EASY access too. So far, I managed to store all 26 vehicles which are all my character vehicles including bobs, savages, insurgents and other large stuff, modded and "found" all over the entire area and could access each one even with tanks in the way, better yet, easy to airlift stuff out! Price tag, lol, probably something silly like $50,000,000+ as after all you would be purchasing and entire docking area pretty much and the prviate costs would be huge! Seeing as the gold club is 150,000,000 I'd say that's cheap .  Will have my complete thing done tomorrow, yay for day off lol. Keep inspired! And keep up the great working , 0.3 is excellent so far! El Dildo Posted June 9, 2015 Share Posted June 9, 2015 ^^^ interesting ideas.  ...  I got a chance to try out version 0.3 awesome work, once again  the license plates work, the mod shop works, and Franklin's Super Diamond is no longer disappearing! also love the addition of the 2 other garages. we've got so much space, this is great. maybe someday we could even access the apartment interior itself like an actual safe house. if the elevator could have a spawn point that takes you into the apartment, we would just need to add a clothes closet and savegame in the bedroom.  as of right now there's only a couple small bugs left, but you know about them too. the convertible rooftops still won't save in the correct up or down position Mod Shop won't let you change the mods back to 'Stock' level but you know about those Matt_STS 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But hey, that just me   @MLG I noticed the garage icon in the map is always visible, no matter how far you are from the garage location. IMOIt would be better if it appears in the radar only when you are near it, like the other personal garages icons. I get what you are saying by "seen by everyone" but even in my country, UK, we have docks and military zones, large open areas and hardware storage that is usually on open fields, on ports (that's the word, not docks lol) and we even have a few private garages that house stock and business unit cars, yeah, not a Hyda jump jet, a 35 ton dump truck or a magnetic lift transport helicopter...but hey, this is GTA 5 why would you want complete realism? You can drive into airports, fly over prisons, go the wrong way on highways, shoot 100's of cops and all still mange to evade the cops fairly easily, not to mention how easy it is to steal said large vehicles.  To each their own, I am pretty sure there is room for both our ideas, as i say again, mine is more of an actual land grabbing, business owning, privitisation of property aquirement where you buy, not just the business, but the land and plots and it self, to then privately store vehicles, which as i've said, people do and can do in real life. Hell there is an old scrapyard a few miles away from me that houses nothing but classic, racing age beaters from about 20 or 30 years ago, and it's a great collection, guy paid a FORTUNE for the space those, a lot of money. I tried to to mix in a flavour of realism and fantasy and pushing it to a new level, you've got to admit, having a port owned by you with instant and easy access to all those vehicles,w ithout a single break in gameplay would be awesome.  I just tried in now, drove cross map to docks, jumped in a Savage and high tailed it out of there while the cops were admiring my collection, hehe, fun stuff.  @MLG I love Weazel plaza btw, I forgot it almost had that "run way" which you can use for jets , it's rather fun, Lazer just about can take off in time and ofc np for the Hydra, great fun! Â Just to clarify, I didn't mean to drive the cars out like you can a safehouse garage, but to drive towards the doors like you do in the lockup garages for each character, just to add some immersion.
