Simple Trainer for GTAV

sjaak, my eyes might have turned their backs on me but where are the keybindings for vehicle speed and im. stop?

I used this a lot in GTAIV and I didn't saw this feature early in GTAV. I use the Arrow keys for driving and I want to assign

other keys for vehicle speedup and im. stop.

You need to enable it. The keys are the same as the other trainers for GTA V. Num 9 to speed up, Num 3 to break.

 

And what are those features called? AirBreakspeedUp? :/

I need to change the Num 3 and 9 to \| and ]}.

 

Offtopic. Other trainers for GTAV? Wut? Only sjaak's trainer is more than enough.

Please answer me what is wrong with in game clock numbers distance, and is it possible to correct that? At least put those two dots (:) in the middle (add same space after).

Totally loving this mod! Thanks so much!

 

I just wanted to see if you knew that when you change your player model to one of the multiplayer ones, namely the GTA online protagonists, in the clothing menu when you save, all of the clothing options don't get saved. (?) Have you ever had this happen to you? This consistently happens (only saves some of the options I choose for clothing) and I'm not sure why. If you are able to take a look at this, (is it something easily fixed), or, what do you think?

 

Thanks so much if you are able to reply to this, and thank you once again, for an incredible mod. It's one of my favorites! Oh, and one more question actually, will you be updating your mod as more content gets released for the game?

Is there a way to keep the flare gun in the players inventory when changing characters ?

I give all weapons back on change (including ammo and any attachements or colors, if the flare gun isn't among those, I guess it must be a limitation, as I definitely iterate through all the weapons including the flare gun. Edit: just changed, I still have the flare gun, so no issues there.

 

Well when changing from trevor to michael for example, the flare gun, the actual flare in the throwable slot and the snowballs disappear, but the fire extinguisher and the firework launcher don´t.

I think its because the fireworks launcher can be kept in online even after the timed event (i can´t remember which one) ends, but the flare gun i don´t really know. Maybe you can add it to ammunation and make it purchasable ?

I want to assign different keys but the mentioned features seems not to be in the .ini.

I just beat the story mode and picked ending c thats about it, although i think it happens in the beginning of the game as well. BTW i always play this game on offline mode and only signed in twice to get some new haircut or something maybe thats the problem ?

I got disappearing season-weapons upon char switch as well. I just used the get all weapons with Mike and had 11 items in throwable slot including the ball that only Frank is supposed to have. After char switch to Frank and back to Mike it was reduced to 7 items. I remember this was also the same with Alexander Blades Trainer, and even if you use XB36 Hazard's Save Editor the weapons disappear. I don't care much about the season-weapons so this is no problem to me, but you even lose the Railgun after certain story missions, and that might come a bit unhandy. Back in IV, when storyline was still at point before access to Algonquin, the desert eagle or any other weapon from set 2 was replaced with the normal handgun or any other weapon from set 1 after each mission, that was way more annoying.

 

I think the game checks back the inventory with the system date from time to time and removes the special weapons if the check comes out bad. The same function might be used to remove the weapons in GTA-Online as well when July 4th or another special event is passed. I will check if this happens at July 4th, too and come back with anything that's different that day.

Hmm I block internet access to the game, and can switch all I want without loosing a single weapon. I get all weapons (58) and after switch I still have 58 weapons. If the game removes certain weapons due to some online check, there is nothing I can do.

 

Also weapons disappearing after missions cannot be helped, I don't see the big deal anyway, a visit to the weapon menu gets them all back.

Hi sjaak327,

nice trainer, but i guess found a bug. I set to "Real Time Duration" and set the Clock to 23H and my game will freeze. I repeat it and the game freeze again.

^ what do you mean by freeze ?

As in the time doesn't move again ?

or crash ?

 

both of these things don't happen here, I can easily switch the time to 23:00 without any problems.

I really do love this trainer but i have a couple of questions. Sorry if they have been answered somewhere else.

 

1) If i wanted to disable airbreak F6 key binding, do i just remove the key, so the .ini reads

 

AirBreakKey=117 //Air Break Default

 

Before i changed it, it read

 

AirBreakKey=117 //Air Break Default F6

 

Is this correct or am i supposed to set a value to 0 instead to disable?

 

 

2) in the weapon options, there is an option to type in ammo type. Not sure what i am supposed to type in here. Does this let you type in object hashes, so i could shoot cars, sharks, etc, similar to those other sort of mods?

 

3) That invisibilty option is extremly useful as it works inside the rockstar editor too! Would it be possible to make the weapon your player is holding, invisible too. I know i could just unarm player, but i have a specific use for this, in conjunction with number 2 (shooting objects)

 

I would personally love an option to spawn bright white light sources - spotlights, headlights, etc or somehow fix a light to player or bodyguards so they are illuminated at night.

 

Got a feeling it can't really be done easily.

 

I think this will be my go to trainer from now on. Really intuitive to use.

Yeah weapon and player invisibilty will be useful.

 

Is there a stealth / hidden mode in your trainer so that you can literally be hidden from police or enemies e.g there AI wont detect you while its enabled?

 

Reckon you would be able to add an option to fire objects and props from guns by typing in the object name? I know other mod trainers do this, e.g vehicle canon, shark gun, object spooner, but its getting tricky to manage a lot of mods in one go, even when defining hotkeys.

 

I mentioned about spawning lights but then i saw this and it really got me thinking

Up to 32 custom lights around the player, look in EthansLight.ini for the settings. Use the END key or whatever you choose to enable/disable/reload the lights in-game.

 

He is not developing it anymore i don't think. As a proof of concept its amazing (to me). i'll explain.

 

It looks ugly in that video, BUT i imagine a menu in ST player options called Lights where there are simply 32 lights listed. You could enable or disable each light independantly.

 

For each light, you can set any of its parameters availble natively - colour, brightness / exposure, radius / spread if available. I know you can change colour because someone messed with the ini file to make one large violet light.

 

The lights move with the player.

 

Why this is interesting to me is that if this could be implemnted to allow you to produce more subtle results (not like that video) but white light, brightness reduced abit and bloom taken down, and you set your player as invisible (which works in editor too), you have a movable light which can be used by video editors to light night scenes.

 

You could literally just stand near to your actor peds / target and they would be lit nicely.

 

If all enabled light's RGB and brightness could be automated to change every x seconds, you would have disco / strobe / club lights

 

How difficult would it be to implement something like this in your player options?

 

Ethan has shared the source code for it on the gta5 mods page. Not sure if its open source and wether you would be willing to make these modifications to it.

 

I imagine this is much simpler than spawning light objects around the map, and perhaps will give a better result.

You can't right now, one look at the ini would have given you the answer. It will come in next update.

would be good to have a combo, 5 stars and walk right up to a cop.

Yeh a player stealth mode combining it all would be useful, but without turning player invisible, so police, peds and enemies can't see you while it is enabled.

 

I wanted to mess about on that crystal maze o'neil farmhouse mission but you can't get close without them spotting you and shooting. This mode would have really helped. Same goes for police chases.

Allthough my plan is to release in about two days. But adding a few vehicles and weapons won't take much time, so will add those as soon as they are available.

I just wanted to report a bit of incompatibility between this trainer and the Just Cause 2 Grappling Hook mod. When I installed it, the grappling hook worked fine but the trainer wasn't working correctly.

The trainer message would say that a vehicle was spawned, but it would not actually spawn any vehicles. Similar thing with "Clear Wanted Level". It would clear the stars, but the cops would still be after me, and my wanted level would slowly go back up without me doing anything. I definitely choose this trainer over the grappling hook, but it's such an awesome mod that I hope it can be integrated with this trainer at some point.

Hey sjaak327, you know in the GTA Online intro how there's a plane with your character in it? I spawned that plane and wanted to attach it to the Shamal but there's no option to attach the object to the vehicle. Can you add the "Attach object to Vehicle/Player" option to the trainer like in GTA4?

1. The trainer won't load bodyguard settings from ini.

2. The bodyguard hit-points setting seems ineffective. Even if I set the HP to 10000, the spawned bodyguard can still be killed in a few shots.

are there any plans for the ability to disable trainer keys and save settings to .ini in game like we were able to in IV
