You can also do this when a green vehicle icon is shown on your map. Instead of taking the car to respray it, and then take it to Simeon.. go to a nearby blue job circle by parking the car over it.

I just did it with this car just a few moments ago.

Hate to break it to you, but you can store the F620 straight off the street, no blue circle trickery needed.

And bring it to simeon will make you 15k

Well I imagine there will come a patch for this eventually but I think it will be low on the list of

R* priorities.

Heists update introduced this free roam event in March 2015, we are now approaching July and had an

update since then and its still working, it's also not that common a spawn as Destroy TV.

Also worth remembering they still have not patched Merryweather Mesa's from the mercs and that;'s been

around for a long time now.

True but you can't sell them and they weren't available for sale before heist. So it's a toss up what rockstar will do.

Were straying off topic here but since heists update you can now sell the Merryweather Mesa's if you own one.

You're f*cking with me? I got rid of two fully modded ones last year to make room.

OT: FREE BUFFALO S

Nope legit, I kept my two until the heists update and then one day I was in LSC and clicked sell and it allowed me to

sell my Mesa so I tried the other and both sold fully modded = profit.

I posted about it in SeaWalls update thread a while back, Page 18 I believe, here's the extract:

An update on the Merryweather Mesa.
You can't sell it after a mercs attack, when you drive into LSC it will say Sorry You Can't Sell this vehicle.
However if you then fit a $2000 tracker it will sell for $8700 so not really that worthwhile as $7500 for the Mercs and $2000
tracker you are loosing $800 and restricted to every 48 minutes.
You can still store them and drive them straight into your garage though so they still have not patched that!

BigJoe, pull nose first directly into the blue job circle from the street, get out of vehicle and watch character pull out his phone to accept the job, quit the job, confirm and when you spawn back into the session immediately span the camera around so your not facing the street and look down at the ground and count to 4 so the car has time to spawn in. Then look up and slowly pan the camera around and your personal car if you had one out will be near by and so will the vehicle you parked in the middle of the blue job circle.

The job circle I use is next to an intersection by Legion Square so my personal vehicle and the one I'm wanting to keep will spawn in on 2 different roads coming together at that intersection.

Always be sure to use job circles that are located very close to roads and no other players can be anywhere near you when you do the glitch cause the vehicle will de-spawn or be stuck in the middle of the job circle when you come back after exiting the job.

I think it'll be a long time coming if they ever patch this, this glitch has worked for various things and has been around forever. At one time it was patched when it was being used to store mission cars and gang attack Mesa's and Western Daemon's but haven't tried it for storing those since transferring to PS4.

Would someone mind telling me the correct way to do the mission marker glitch because the last few times I've tried the car just disappeared and never respawned.

I was trying to keep a Daemon from a mission and the thing kept despawning.

How are you entering the mission marker?

What i do is i drive the vehicle over the blue circle, exit the car, quit the job and the car spawns pretty close by.

I've been driving the car into the circle, getting out and quitting the mission. Pretty much the same thing you've been doing.

How does the spawning work because normally I can never find the car after doing the glitch.

Try doing it without having a PV on the map, if you have one out there is a risk the game will despawn the target vehicle

car and replace it with your PV, that was how I overcame this problem before.

I've heard of this being a problem, I'll make sure to destroy my PV or something next time.

Is there any tactics to getting more target vehicles to spawn or is it all by chance?

Thanks for the in depth guide :).

I always somehow manage to f*ck it up halfway through, it's probably the way I'm panning the camera. I'll give this a go next time I find one.

Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to write this detailed post. After failing the first 2 times this worked like a charm. Again, thanks.

I can confirm the method works.

Got Destroy Target vehicle down at the beach and it was a parked Buffalo S so I killed the drug dealers and got in the car and

went off and did as described.

My friend in the session then asked me what happened to target vehicle so went to customs and was able to fit tracker/insurance

so now owner of Free Buffalo S.

Can someone clarify what this red car icon thing is and how you start it? Is it something like the priority vehicle task? I've never done it.

The Destroy Vehicle for Gerald. It's random
FTFY too. :p

Too late, can't be unseen.

i'm gonna call him Gerold from now on

FYI, if there are others in the session, it may not despawn out of the circle. Mine didn't until two more buddies did it, as both were still showing to destroy it. Once the last did so, it despawned and respawned nearby so i could store it.

I've contacted R* about the Mercenaries Merryweather Mesa, they didn't seem phased by it, but confirm that these can't be sold, only the purchased Mesa's can be sold. That's R*'s way of saying what happens when they never fix a vehicle that people invest their money into.

I think it's been patched. Since IGG part 1 the car always de-spawns when you back out of the job.

Also when doing missions any car you now bring back that you didn't put in your garage during the mission will not have a sell option at LSC.

I used to do one of the missions stuck at 12 noon to fill garages with Dubsta II's then spawn an extra to spawn back into free mode with and sell strait away. The ones I already put into garages are sellable but that extra is not, no sell option.

I just did this yesterday alone in invite only. Made sure to look at the ground until my personal vehicle spawned and stuff.

Oh this glitch? It makes me wonder they haven't fixed it, i used it to get a

Merryweather mesa like five months ago,oh and also an ocelot jackal and a felon (which spawn in one of simeons missions) don't know why/how they havent fixed such an old glitch already, but it doesnt really hurt them, nor us.

I used the race downtown underground because the vehicle spawns on the street in front of you...Theres nowhere else it can wind up.

So I am on PC. I used the 3rd Street Promenade race, Bahama Mama or something. The blue circle is right at the intersection of 3rd and Wilshire BLVD, two wide and usually empty streets. My personal car spawned across 3rd street on the curb of Wilshire while the Buffalo S was in the middle of 3rd street across from the promenade.

I sold my Mercenary Mesa like 3 days ago.
