Street is really wide so it makes fast approaches/escapes easy from the garage. Also easier to land aircraft on the street. It's across from the construction site which is good for a quick buck because of the gang attack. It is really close to the Mor Mutual depot as well. The building itself is looks unique and pleasing to the eye, as apposed to the generic high rises the others are in. The parking lot in the back is a good place for meets, or another quick escape route over the ramp torwards LSC. Caffe1ne Posted May 26, 2015 Share Posted May 26, 2015 It's close to the Vespucci and hospital heliports, stores (snacks) and ammunation. It's probably the closest high-end apt to the airport. It's close to the gang areas so you don't have far to drive a shot up gang peyote (last gen) into your garage. There is a subway entrance across the road so if the shot up gang car has too much heat, just drive it in there to lose the stars. The only down side is the nearest LSC is a bit of a drive away. Commander S Posted May 26, 2015 Share Posted May 26, 2015 Had it for my first high-end apartment, mainly because ...most people weren't going for it (those were the days when EVERYONE was buying the top-end one at Eclipse, which turned the surrounding area into a permanent war-zone...), but also because it allowed for a clean getaway from psychopaths - either down the subway tunnels just across the street, or a sharp zig-zag around the corner to the marina helipad. Central enough to be near to pretty much anything yet far enough from the war zones (although at times it sees it's share!). Close to all mod shops, a stones throw from the marina and helipad. Good area for cop escapes too with the tram tunnels opposite (also handy for catching a tram if you are going by public transport!). The view from the dearest apartment is also really nice. I bought this a few months ago, just for the sake of it. Always shied away because I wasn't that impressed with the view on the lower apt. But I bought the higher one and it is lovely. Doubt I'll trade that apt in, even though I'm not currently using it as my main residence. RichiesTrucking Posted May 26, 2015 Share Posted May 26, 2015 each person will purchase property for their own reasons. my main one (longest owned) is integrity way because its strategic for me. away from war zones but very close to cover from jet griefers but central enough to get where i want to go i also have a 10 car garage very close to LSC in poplar street because its ideal for storing vehicles that i want to sell. i used to grab every baller i could find and store them there until i could sell them and restock again. my high end apartment is tinsel towers because it was close to the gold/chrome dubsta spawn point near madrazos house. put as many as i could there while i was within the spawn time restraints then move them to poplar street once they stopped spawning. i got more that way than running across town with each one. now i use it for vehicles that i dont want to sell but hardly ever use. off roaders etc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Used it hundreds of times. But this tunnel is buggy (or has poltergeists--am trying to get good video footage to post on this). * Near the dock (for Kraken or boat spawns) and the chopper landing pad (for your Buzzard--you DO have one, right?) * Close to the largest/tallest building in the GTAO map makes your home easy to find in aircraft even without the map, and you can use the top of the construction building to lose four- or five-star wanted levels fairly easily. It is almost equidistant from two mod shops the airport one and eastern one. I traded in my Del Perro location for it. It is near a subway tunnel / station that is super place to hide from cops. I have 5 keeper cars there and the other slots are for stock (stolen cars to sell) over flow. 4 keeper autos at PB house and 2 keeper autos at So LS location near car acquisition site. This site is keeper location and PB house is keeper getaway vacation home. The Alta location while may favorite of the high end apartment locations is not necessarily a have to have keeper strategic location. If they allowed us a fourth I would go for the airport ten car garage close to the LSC. I had this and it was a good strategic location for a so side strategy plus fun place to shoot down planes and choppers with HSM even downed some fighter jets. I like the view better here - it is higher up than the cheaper one but still in 200 k range. I do not like the interiors of the 400-500 k apartments especially the covered bedroom window. I own a house in PB and a ten car garage in south LS. My main business is car theft of gang cars I can sell for 10-13 K. At each logon I sell one. Then Derek goes to garage to rip ones to fill it up. I own a super and a buzzard. So far the heists have been waste of my time and little payout. I like doing certain missions solo like titan, blowout, blowout II. Currently bored with lots of money (multi millionaire all self earned) - hope new properties come out soon. I am not a car fanatic as with my 26 car capacity of my three properties only 11 keeper cars with 15 spaces reserved for "stock" - stolen cars to sell. I would like to see an option in the game where a player could have a sugar baby (live in) and special place to shop for them with varying allowances, etc. I like moving between properties separated by long distance via various jobs. My favorite car is the Zen as it is great for combat. Sometimes I will retreat to PB or set that as spawn point for log on to immediately sell a car then take one of my boats out - I have 4 including a $300K speeder. In terms of aircraft I own a buzzard and a cuban. I consider PB a peaceful place to chill and it can give me a chance to catch my breath during bounties and close to sub dock if need to flee. I would like the game add sharks to the ocean and populate it with marine life like gta 5 along with scuba ability and some locations to get loot. While I am a member of crews not that fraternal and occasionally will "date" some bikini clad female player taking her around places (but for all I know could be guy IRL). I do my own thing and don't care about someone else concept of how "game should be played." You still have to watch your back at the Alta location and occasionally griefers will try follow you there. If you want an away from it all garage in a secure compund large area try the Airport ten car garage closest to the airport LSC. Rehearse various ways to ambush interlopers or shoot at planes from around cover. If a guy is coming in to get you set out some stickys and motion mines (killed a number of bounty hunter with these). If bounty on me substantial will try beat them out of it otherwise ride train and let them come get me killing them along way for sport. I have expressed my love for Alta many times, I've tried out all the other apartments but I just keep coming back to Alta. Already been mentioned but reasons include: Close to helipad Close to ammnation Close to Mors Mutual Close to store Closest apartment to the impound Great starting point for missions (need to get to Sandy Shores, well just get a heli from the helipad) Subway entrance The cutscene when you load into a session is nice as you can hear the tannoy at the subway. All 3 city customs locations are nearby, meaning you pretty much have the same amount of distance to travel to each one. The walls for the garage entrance obstruct the cops view so you can enter your garage easily if cops are on you (its great for the Pacific Finale for example) The HPV vehicle can spawn in the car park Having said that, every heist I join, its Eclipse, Eclipse, Del Pierro and Eclipse. Sometimes I just relax there changing wardrobe, enjoying whiskey, looking out windows enjoying view, having strippers over. I do have a vacn home in Paleto Bay. I am frustrated with what RS has seemed to do with Heli performance vs what it was. Let me know what is going on with that. I think Alta st apartment would be great for a South Side Strategy - with the South Shambles St 10 car garage and 10 car garage at airport closest to mod shop there (it is like a compound and you can shoot down planes easily with HSM). I recently traded in my ten car garage near airport LSC for vacn home in PB and this gives me diversified properties.
