GTA Free Roam Combat: Name Noob Tactics/Weaponry (Preferably explain)

Personally, I don't completely believe the first two poll options. I just wanted to see who did.

Really? So how come you edited the post options 2 hours after posting them? When I first voted there were only 3 options, and the first option had a completely different piece of text attached to it!

So you're saying that when you first posted the poll there was only 1 real "option"..... that's certainly an interesting if rather skewed way of doing things.

Funny enough, your attitude on here appears to be the same as it is in the game. You're fine if everyone is doing/saying what you want, but if anyone should kill you/disagree with you then you get in a p*ss about it and call everyone names.

 

If anyone kills you they're a dishonourable n00b, if anyone disagrees with you then they're apparently not reading the thread properly/are a dousche.

 

Of course, it could never just be that you suck at the game and nobody agrees with your desire for all weapons and cars to be removed from GTA.

Maybe it's because there aren't any noob tactics/weapons. If anything the starter pistol is a "noob" weapon because, well, you're a newbie when you first get it. It seems that you're just bad at the game. If someone's killing you with a "noob" weapon or tactic, then use the same weapons against them. They were put into the game for anyone to use. Get on their level.

I don't think anyone in the past 6 pages is actually looking for a reply, merely coming to read the latest "I got pwned and I'm unhappy about it" thread. It's more of a sideshow than a discussion I'm afraid, and you've pretty much rejected anyone who had anything objective to say as it didn't result in the pistols at 20 paces version of GTA you seem to want to create.

 

Honestly, what you're looking for is in another game, learn to love this one for it's merits and accept that online play is a far cry from Bridge night with the neighbours...

Annyyywaayyy I understand both sides of this argument.

 

While I think you should be allowed to do what you want and you can, there are certain things that can be counted as "douchey" or something like that. The thing is the person who does these "douchey" things finds it fun. When you are in a tank and killing everyone or in a jet doing the same, everyone immediately doesn't want your presence and they won't like what you're doing. But the guy on the other side sitting in his tank is loving all the carnage - and I must say it is pretty fun to mess around in one.

 

But the thing is; and I consider to be a dick move when the same player keeps going for his OP item/strategy when he's killed. Usually through passive is how it plays out. This is the bullsh*t I don't like. One time me and my friends were having a sniping fight with this guy on a roof. Literally every time he was killed he'd go passive and find another roof then start sniping.

 

It's just annoying when players just keep doing the same thing over and over, this game offers so much and you're just limiting yourself by using the same weapon/vehicle over and over. It's fine if you use it once or twice especially if it's OP, but I hate seeing repetition in this game when there is so much to choose from.

 

The OP is kinda right though, weapons such as the marksman, RPG, Minigun etc take alot less skill to use than others, but without them the game would be more boring, would be less variety; it's cool to shake it up and these do just that. But when they are abused, that in my opinion is wrong; just like the tank or jets.

 

But hey, I, you or OP can't change anything. People will play how they want, even if they know they are using OP equipment or using douchey tactics such as hiding in passive mode when killed. And they will continue to do this stuff. #freewillandall

 

I just wish people would have shown OP some respect. I don't remember him being a dick at all, but everyone posted stupid memes, sarcastic comments and they were the ones being a dick. But owait #freewillandall

First of all, I agree with this list 100%. Secondly, you gotta remember that people who aren't in MCs will see you as a big cry baby. 'Waaah waaah he's using this.' Everything that's listed is annoying when people use it, but it isn't worthy of being removed from GTA.

P.S: Marksman rifle takes 0 skill. Literally just hold RT and strafe and you'll get the kill.

As a sniper, the best place to be is in a place such as this. This building would be fun to set traps in if people were to come after you on foot though.

Any sniper that can kill you with a ranged shot is sniping. Doesn't matter where they are.

 

Isn't sniping a bitch tactic though? You are hiding, far, far away, the target doesn't even know you are aiming at them and you kill them when they have no chance to defend themselves.
