That makes no sense because I promise you I've been killed back multiple times and I use this method. Just because I EWO doesn't mean I'm gonna run away after getting the kill. You have your opinion and I have mine but, I use it as a tactic.

The worst is the ones who fire rpgs and immediately kill themselves lol, I only kill myself to get away from butthurt kids trying to surround me to get a cheap kill

I do that but only when I'm trying to RPG a jet. I see nothing wrong with it.

R* should put a cooldown on the Easy Way out. Like an HOUR cooldown like the Mugging has. -_-

 

I slam the Report button on both their game and Live accounts when I see that sh*t. Especially if they're in full battle armor with ugly bucketheads.

So you report people for using something legitimate in the game? Something R* put in there to get used? Why not report people glitching or modding? I hope YOU get banned for illegitimately reporting people."tactic" how is it a tactic , and what goal are trying to acheieve by doing it , is it just pure chance that it improves your kd , maybe you do it out of the goodness of your heart , by killing yourself your removing any emotional stress the other player may feel when faced with the reality that they have murdered someone .

Your just trying to get an unfair advantage , and is yet another method people employ that completely ruins a good fair honest fight , is as bad as using God mode or guns while passive , grow a pair and fight like a man

Yeah, I agree. I can respect a good K/D in this game (even if it's not the game's main goal), but whenever I see someone using cheap tactics like EWO, Passive-Unpassive-Passive, or just kill unsuspecting players (shopping or afk) I will just laugh at them for thinking they have a decent K/D. Put them in a deathmatch and they will lose 10/10 times.

I see the point you're trying to make and I do agree with it. Killing yourself is a sissy tactic, but it is a tactic.

 

I can imagine a scene where these guys are hiding in an alley way or something, all waiting to attack someone. Then suddenly you appear and point your gun. Just then, 15 people shoot themselves in the head all at once leaving you standing there wondering what the hell. LMFAO!!

It IS tapping out. How is it fair? It's your fault for letting the other guy get you down to a sliver of health. Get better. If I'm fighting someone and they off themselves after besting me, I think, "I gave him the business hard enough that he needed to off himself in order to fight me again. I'll save him the trouble next time." The fact that I made you kill yourself is a victory in and of itself, LOL. I died because of something you did and you died because of something I did.

 

I've NEVER offed myself while fighitng someone. If I'm in a less than ideal position, I move or adjust my attack. If the police are on me, I call Lester or go after my opponent with the police in tow. I don't rage over people that do it, whatever works, but it's lame AF IMO.

You scrubs are only impressing yourselves with all this honourable meta gaming. The score card at the bottom of the screen tells you who's winning, The game works it all out for you and doesn't care about your imaginary rules.

 

Some people just have the sense not to inconvenience themselves with police distractions and vehicle impounds, that's why I do it anyway like maybe a few times a session at most. It can be more of a dice roll in terms of combat so there's really no advantage in it that way. If some of you were half as 'good' or experienced as you seem to think, you would already know this. I've never met a good player who doesn't take the easy way out from time to time.

And usually high levels care about their KD (this one had a low ratio) but this one spammed rockets like it was WW3

Somebody seriously counts how many explosives hit their Insurgent before taking the "easy way out" like a bitch? I got in my Hydra to chase down a Insurgent as the bounty would earn me less than the stickies needed to blow him up costs, I did shot down missiles at him once he got stuck and as soon as the last hit and he blew up, I was thinking "YES!" Looked at the feed and saw he killed himself. At least I didn't pay for the PV.

He then starts spamming "Easy Way out" for five minutes while I just hover there watching. Out of curiosity I checked his K/D during that and what a surprise........ a sold 3.0

That is why I don't pull the trigger on Heavy Snipers unless they're under 100 as it WILL kill them. Going off radar from a distance is the best chance at sneaking up on bounties as they probably aren't expecting it.

I really do hate that they changed it to be awhile after death you get the bounty though...... it used to be as soon as you killed them. What's even worse is when you kill a bounty, it hasn't processed yet...... they respawn near another player who kills them...... and THEY get the bounty, not you.

Last two times I've run into packs of free roam grievers they were crazy about commiting suicide rather than be killed, never seen it before, are they doing it to change location, or protecting their precious KD ratio? I just dont understand it... it wasn't a gag, definitely tactical I just don't know how...when the fighting got rough against the group of them they'd be commiting suicide more than once a minute. I died, a lot, they suicided... a lot.

Why not just play Battlefield then? I mean, if you hate the PvP in this game, why bother playing it?

 

This is the kind of thing that makes everyone just stick to vehicles. You try to play fair on the ground, then you've got people going in and out of passive, etc. At least if you get a round at someone in a Savage/tank/other vehicle, they're dead, and they're not going to kill themselves 20 times in a row. Plus the Buzzard is pretty good for passive players (on last gen at least), that's usually my go to vehicle if someone pops in and out. You do have to know when to move back and play the waiting game though, plus I tend to hover just above people for a while before I go in for the slice, so they can't pop out (or if they do I'll be able to missile them from an angle they can't aim).

 

Oh well, it is what it is.

I do keep a rough count, but instead of taking the easy way out, I disengage and head for the nearest LSC or my garage to repair the damage.

 

Taking the easy way out is inefficient and dangerous during vehicular combat, to say the least. You respawn on the streets, void of any protection from your precious PV, too far to get back on it immediately and too close to call for a delivery.

 

As for jets, I tend to seek safe haven ASAP, and I know I have enough time to find one in my Insurgent unless I'm outside Los Santos. Missile-spam pilots who don't use their guns tend not to damage me too much anyway.

 

 

On-topic: I only use it to get the cops off my tail, or replenishing health away from the warzone. I stay on vehicles most of the time so it isn't really beneficial to me tactically as mentioned above.

If another player or the same player kills me on half-health then I'd consider that a scrap-kill. Nothin' to do with skill. Bein' ballsy gets you killed. If you want to win then you do what I do.

 

So to rephrase, if people complain about me choosin' Easy Way Out maybe they should've killed me 1st rather than complainin' about me doin' it because they aren't good enough to kill me on full health. That makes you a hypocrite in all honesty. You lack the skill/know-how to kill me and then complain when I kill myself after I kill you. If you killed me first, then there would be no quarrel with it. *Drops mic*
