an appeal for civilized gameplay (regarding voice chat)

I don't know if there exists any type of moderation on GTA Online servers at all, but even if so, I just cannot see it working.

I really think too much is allowed in the game, mostly to players using microphones.

Many of them keep acting in an extremely uncivilized, primitive, and even outraging manner, shouting, yelling real loud all the time, often even totally unarticulated, or swearing, cursing, spouting out very severe insults, provocations, making extreme, sexist, racistic, fascistic, chauvinistic, fundamentalistic-terroristic comments, etc etc.

With such a behavior, they constantly obstruct, and often even totally ruin the fun for all other, decent, civilized, cultured, and normally acting players, preventing them from enjoying this otherwise really fantastic game.

So in the name of civilized gameplay, within a civilized community, I appeal, and even insist, that at least some form of moderation shoulsd be present and applied in GTA Online, and such, extremely annoying, disturbing, aggravating, revoltingly acting players properly banned or punished! (but at least restricted or penalized)

There's so many versions of LS running at any one time that moderating them all would be impossible.

But there is report functions in the start menu, use those for the worst offenders

Well that's already still better than nothing, so THANKS, I WILL do so in the future. (since I deliberately decided to prevent my game experience and fun to be runied by a bunch of primitive, idiotic, immature, and maniacal morons, that is definitely not what I payed for)

Disclaimer:

I don't disapprove microphone usage in GTA Online in general, I even support the idea of it, since I consider it for a very useful, sometimes even necessary feature in such a game, but only as long players are able and willing to use their microphones properly, for its originally meant, true purpose, in a cultured, civilized manner.

Errr......I wanted to mute and report such a loud shouting/cursing/insulting player yesterday, but I realized there is a serious problem:

Namely, how the hell do I know who he is, which player to mute and report?

In written game chat it is obvious, we can clearly see who is writing the lines, but how can we tell which player is the loud shouting/cursing/insulting one, when we can only hear him, without being able to see his name?

Don't know if GTA Online is working like DayZ, and I can only see chat lines, and hear voice comments of players close to my location, but even if so, in most cases there are more than one, or even many players in the nearby area, so how can I determine the offender among them?

Whenever some makes a noise through their mic a speaker symbol will appear next to their gamer tag where their rank would normally be displayed. Just press down on the d pad. Alternatively you can open up the player list via the start menu.

Thanks a lot!

I guess this will solve my problem!
