Which headset is better?

So, I'm stuck between the Asus Cerberus and the Creative Tactic3D Fury to replace my old crappy Turtle Beach.

Which is better in doing 7.1, Bass and overall?

I'm not a headset person but if I had to choose between the two, it would be the Asus Cerberus. They look more comfy (bigger pads which go over your ears) where as the Fury seems to sit on your ears. I had a cheap pair of Creatives before which had similar pads to the Fury and it was like wearing a medieval torture device.

As for sound I honestly don't know but the stereo Cerberus will likely sound better in most areas than the 7.1 Furys as the Cerberus will use two quality drivers, rather than 7 cheap ones. I'm not a pro player by any means but I have no problem telling where a sound comes from in Counter Strike with a pair of stereo headphones.

 

If you're just gonna be gaming on the PC I'd say scrap the headsets, save a little more and get a nice pair of headphones + a clip on mic. You'll get infinitely better sound and be doing just as good as the pros with their gaming headsets.
