It's been a while since I played Online in weeks on my 360, and when I got on, I noticed there where 18 players in the session I was in instead of the usual 16.

I've see 17-18 players a lot lately on 360. There's always been 2 extra slots, but they were reserved for developers or spectators or something. They seem to have opened them up to regular players now.

Apparently x360 now has 18 people there have been a few threads like that. PS3 still has 16, never saw more.

17 players yesterday when I checked the map for players. Sometimes 18.

Check S7Sins modded lobbies,there are cluttered with X360 lobbies.

 

Either

 

A)A dev undercover is making no money laudering is going around

 

Or

 

B)The 2 new slots are now open to public.Hopefully the same for PS3 soon.

I saw 17 on PS3 a few months ago. There were only 16 players in the session but on the top it said 17.

I entered a Rooftop Rumble lobby with 8 players. Then it froze soon after.

Never played V on laat gen. As a pro jet jerk i wait for at least twenty people to be in a lobby before i commence with the fa**otree and try hard k/dr. I love the full lobbies. main reason to go to cg. That and a viable passive.

What I hate is how that screws the player list. You press down on the d-pad and only appear like 1 or 2 players.

its got capacity for 30, but i rarely see a full 27-30 lobby, its always see around 20 players in a session

It was 16 on last gen. So either they increased the limit or it's for the developers.

Yea almost every public session i am in lately has 17-18 people in it. I knew the slots were for developers and spectators but its almost always like this now. Have they actually opened them up? Has anyone got an answer.

I play daily on Xbox 360, can confirm 18 slots per lobby for about two weeks now. Checked list and counted on map.
