Loves GTA
You copied the OpenIV folder into the GTAV game folder... why? I don't have any issues with OpenIV, but then again, I also didn't move the folder where it was originally installed around needlessly. You said yourself it worked until you messed with it. Lesson to learn from all of this: If everything is working fine as is, do not make changes unless you are 100% sure you know what you are doing. wapster
You should download the new OpenIV .ASI which lets you copy the original files to a separate mod folder, where you can mod those and leave the original files untouched. It works perfectly as long as you know what you're doing. Also, did you rebuild any files while you were modding? you shouldn't do that, as it completely screws up the game. And OpenIV doesn't have to be installed in the GTA V directory, as long as it finds the .exe file it's OK. Thalyn

ClareXoBearrx3R9
Try reading the software documentation. TL;DR? Don't cry to others about it if it's "too much to read". Edited May 26, 2015 by ClareXoBearrx3
